Retrieving the past for Liberation Now! is our motto and mission. We are compelled to contribute to the fight for Afrikan liberation for Afrikans worldwide through in the first instance raising the consciousness of our people by implementing our aims. We believe knowing that you are not free is the first step towards the abolition of mentacide - the psychological condition that seeks to delude us and give us a false sense of freedom and increases our lethargy and unwillingness to act against injustice. We are not an organisation that is structured or operates in a way that typifies a non-statutory (voluntary) organisation. We define ourselves as a group of contributors to the liberation movement. We have a structure that best suits our purpose rather than the purpose of external bodies and agendas. We do not support the arrogant stance which says ‘our way is the right way' or ‘your organisation is wrong because….' We see JLAEP as part of a response to the predicament of Afrikan people..
