OLD MILL CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN - Key Persons
A native of Western North Carolina, Austin began his career in construction at a young age after experiencing the love of building shared with his grandfather and father. Beginning his career learning the foundational aspects of commercial and industrial construction in Asheville over 20 years ago.
In 2000, he moved to Charlotte, NC and joined a residential framing crew to expand upon his home building expertise. He returned to WNC in the fall of 2003. He furthered his experience working with local contractors. Then, he obtained his NC General Contractor's License to pursue custom home building in the mountains he called home.
In 2010, when an opportunity arose that would allow him to expand upon his management experience, Austin joined MB Haynes Corporation. While there, he was a site superintendent, project manager and served a critical role in starting a new division for the company.
Over 20 years of business experience in the Asheville and surrounding areas. I saw how the housing market on new homes was turning. The quality of homes being built are going down and the prices are going up. I knew the Asheville and surrounding areas needed a company that offers new homes with that old school craftsmanship and quality that you deserve when you have a home built. It doesn't matter if you are building a large full blown custom home or a small simple home, the craftsmanship and quality should be the same.
