Barbara Walz is Tri-State's Senior Vice President, Policy & Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer. She was inducted into the UND Engineering Hall of Fame in 2017 and was named one of the "Top Women in Energy" by the Denver Business Journal in 2018. Along with her accolades, Barbara has succeeded in continuing our compliance in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. She has 22 years of experience in the utility industry and 32 years developing compliance programs.

Barry is Tri-State's Senior Vice President of Generation. Barry oversees the various assets of generation powering Tri-State's cooperative family, ensuring the continued safety of our employees at each facility. In addition to his 21 years of industry experience, Barry served for 13 years in the United States Navy submarine force and an additional 13 years in the Navy Reserve, attaining the rank of captain prior to retiring from the United States Navy.

As Senior Vice President of Energy Management, Brad has a crucial role in the supply of power across Tri-State's footprint. It's no easy task to balance supply and demand of today and the future, keeping the lights on for over a million consumers across the rural West. Brad joined Tri-State in 2007 and has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry.
Duane Highley is Chief Executive Officer here at Tri-State. As CEO, Duane steers our cooperative family into the future as our industry transitions, positioning Tri-State to lead and define a 21st Century generation and transmission cooperative that is member-focused, increasingly flexible and increasingly clean. Duane joined Tri-State in 2019 and has 36 years of experience with cooperatives.

Jennifer Goss is Tri-State's Senior Vice President of Member Relations. She provides additional resources and support for our member systems as well as manages Tri-State's public relations efforts and corporate and member communications. Currently Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and on the Executive Committee as the secretary/treasurer. Jennifer Joined Tri-State in 2013 and has 19 years of electric utility experience.

Joel Bladow is Tri-State's Senior Vice President of Transmission. He manages the transmission of energy from our many resources across the almost 5,300 miles of lines to our 1.1 million consumers. Joel joined Tri-State in 2006 and has more than 35 years of experience in the electric utility industry, including 14 years as a member of Western Area Power Administration (WAPA)'s senior management team.

Ken Reif is Tri-State's Senior Vice President and General Counsel. His more than 39 years of utility experience have prepped Ken to provide sound legal counsel to Tri-State and our members, manage complex legal contracts and advise directors on their fiduciary roles in the board room. Ken Joined Tri-State in December of 2004.

Pat joined Tri-State in 2006. Prior to Tri-State, he served as the vice president and treasurer of Texas-New Mexico Power Company. Pat has more than 37 years of experience in the electric energy sector.
