Here's a little about ourselves. We are Rick and Birdy Gardner, 2 retirees who have been dreaming about this chapter of our lives since 2016. We both were working full time, but knew we would be ready for retirement in a few years. We began the reality when we traded the minivan for a truck and purchased a fifth wheel. Our truck, a Ford 250 Super Duty, we named "Clark", since he was a SUPER(man) Duty. Clark needed a partner, so our rig, the fifth wheel, was graced with the name Lois. 5th Wheel Lois served us well while we lived in her for 6 months to build a small house. But, our plans were to "Go and See"! So, when the right deal occurred, we purchased platinum Lois. We downsized rigs from a 38-foot fifth wheel to a 28-foot pull behind.
