STRATIA CYBER - Key Persons
Paul is a founding director of Stratia Cyber and took over as managing director in 2023. He has more than 20 years' experience in the information security industry and specialises in managing information risk at a corporate level, advising SIROs/CIOs and corporate boards on proportionate and cost-effective risk management solutions.
Paul is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Information Security (FCIIS) and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIET) as well as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Cyber Security Professional (ChCSP). He has been certified at the highest level of the Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) scheme since its foundation, originally as a Lead Practitioner (SIRA) and subsequently as a Certified Risk Management specialist.
Paul is an experienced Board member and Board chair in both executive and non-executive roles, with a mix of private sector, public sector and voluntary sector appointments.
Jon has over 25 years' experience as an information and cyber security professional in the public, private and global military sectors. He has worked across the spectrum of project, product and capability delivery providing information security risk management and assurance services to high-profile IT/IS/cyber programmes.
Since joining Stratia in 2017, Jon has worked on contracts with the High Speed Two rail programme, MOD Cyber Vulnerability Investigations and with The LEGO Group.
Paul is a founding Director of Stratia Cyber and an experienced Risk Management and Security Architect, highly respected for his excellent technical, communication and leadership skills, and his commitment to supporting Government and Commercial systems projects. Prior to joining the world of consultancy, Paul held roles including Sensors Engineers in the Royal Navy, Operational and Computer Network Defence Manager for MOD DII systems, Lead Security Architect at HM Coastguard, Desktop Accreditor for Top Secret systems and Security Assurance Manager for GCHQ.
