Amy Nelson

Amy is the President/Founder of Amy Nelson: A Style and Design Agency, based in Atlanta. Amy is an expert in visual branding and wardrobe consulting for Fortune 100 and 500 executives and companies, philanthropists, and clientele from Dallas to New York. Amy's company also offers creative consulting and is the Creative Director of TFR Shoes, launching in Spring 2025. Amy is married to Simon Davidoff and has 2 grown children, 3 stepchildren, and an adopted son. Amy is a classically trained ballet dancer dancing with The Joffrey Ballet School and Berkshire Ballet, so dance is a true passion! Amy graduated from Skidmore College with a BA is Business and Economics and is honored to be part of the TMBT board and family.

Cammi Nevarez

Cammi Nevarez is from Southern California. In 2016 Cammi received a B.A. in Dance with a concentration in Modern and a Minor in Business Entrepreneurship from Point Park University located in Pittsburgh, PA. Cammi grew up doing commercial dance but always being drawn to the athleticism behind movement, she continued her education focusing in modern and ballet. Cammi performed works by the Martha Graham Company, Koresh Dance, & Ori Flomin. After graduating, Cammi moved to New York and joined Michael MaoDance in 2017. She worked alongside Parsons Dance in 2018. Cammi then joined Sweetbird Productions on their 2018-19 Germany/Switzerland tour of Rock The Ballet X and France tour of Best of Rock The Ballet. In 2019-20 Cammi was Juliet in Adrienne Canterna's Romeo and Juliet in Germany. In 2022, Cammi was a principal dancer in Kevin Jenkins' theatrical ballet, Remember Me. Following that, Cammi was the lead dancer/actress in an adaptation of The Red Shoes, directed and written by Annie Kane. Cammi was the winner of the artistic scholarship Spotlight in non-classical dance and has done work with Nickelodeon. Cammi's teaching and choreographic credits include: Cammi was an instructor for Millennium Dance Complex PGH 2013-2017 where she taught contemporary and helped grow the adult heels program. In 2021 she was the choreographer for Indie film, Way Down Bundy shot in Los Angeles, CA and starring Jeremy Ford. In 2016 Cammi was hired as the on-set choreographer forConcussion, starring Will Smith. She has also choreographed competitive numbers for Hudson Conservatory, Academy of Ballet Arts, & Temecula Dance Co. to name a few. Cammi choreographed a full production number for Scriva's Dance combining Jazz, Contemporary, & Ballet styles. Cammi's passion for choreography and teaching led her to expand her teaching online in 2020. Cammi currently resides in Atlanta where she is pursuing dance/choreography in television/film and her own creative pursuits.

Carolyn Sellinger Shapiro

Carolyn Sellinger Shapiro has served as the General Manager of the Columbia College Dance Center and as the Director of Development of the Chicago City Ballet and as the Executive Director of Dance Cleveland. She was one of the founding members of the Chicago Dance Arts Coalition and has served on panels for the Ohio Arts Council. Carolyn also served on the Board of Directors for The Dancers Collective. She does fund raising events for many nonprofit organizations when she is not training service dogs.

Caryl Greenberg Smith

Caryl Greenberg Smith is a partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, in the area of public finance, representing municipalities, developers and non-profits for more than40 years. Ms. Smith has also been active in the non-profit arena, serving on the Board and as Board Chair for Fernbank Museum of Natural History and chairing or co-chairing events for Zoo Atlanta, the High Museum of Art and The Atlanta History Center, amongst others.

Celeste Pendarvis

Celeste Pendarvis, founder of Parties by Pendarvis, is a dynamic fundraising and events professional. Over two decades in Atlanta, Celeste has worked with nonprofits, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Ballet, and the American Cancer Society. Celeste, along with her husband AJ, enjoy Atlanta's vibrant culinary scene and hanging with Fendi and Moncler, their cat fur babies.

Christian Clark - Founder

Clark is a proud co-founder of Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre where he has served as a dancer, teacher, and administrator since 2017. Along with dancing, Christian has shared his knowledge of dance with many schools around the country as a guest instructor at the Greater Atlanta Christian School, Agnes Scott College, Kennesaw State University, as well as a co-director of Atlanta Ballet's professional summer intensive.

Doug Pisik - Chairman

Doug Shipman

Doug Shipman has long served Atlanta in numerous roles including currently as City Council President and formerly as Founding CEO of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and CEO of the Woodruff Arts Center. He has served on numerous nonprofit and academic boards and enjoys long distance running and short distance chasing of his two daughters.

Georgia Dalton

Georgia Dalton grew up dancing in Columbus, Ohio at Dublin Dance Centre. She spent summers at training programs including ABT, Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Ballet Met, and the Chautauqua Institute. After high school, Georgia attended the Jacobs School of Music Ballet Program at Indiana University, where she worked closely with professors Violette Verdy, Michael Vernon, Sarah Worth, Carla Körbes, Kyra Nichols, Sasha Janes, Christian Claessens, and Shawn Stevens. She graduated in 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Ballet and Marketing. She went on to join Boston Ballet II, under the direction of Peter Stark, Mikko Nissinen, and Russell Kaiser. She was promoted to corps de ballet artist the following year. In 2020, Georgia joined the Atlanta Ballet where she danced as a company artist for three seasons. With Atlanta Ballet, Georgia served as a representative for the American Guild of Musical Artists for two years. She is a certified Gyrotonic Instructor and is passionate about sharing this unique exercise system with dancers and the Atlanta community. Georgia is thrilled to be dancing with Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre for their 24'/25' season.

Gretchen E. Butler

Gretchen E. Butler holds a BA in Theatre from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and an MFA in Theatre Management from the Hilberry Theatre at Wayne State University. She spent over two decades working in various Atlanta arts organizations before making a shift to Emory University, where she currently serves as Director of Advancement and Alumni Services for Central Advancement. Gretchen strives to do good in the world through her volunteerism with Atlanta Woman's Club, North Georgia Walk to Emmaus, and Kingswood United Methodist Church.

James Weis

James Weis, a visionary in haute couture and Tony Award winner, rose to fame as a top makeup artist for supermodels on the runways of Milan, Paris, and New York. At his career's peak, he pivoted to design and own the renowned Inn on the Blue Horizon in the Caribbean, hosting luminaries like Isabella Rossellini, Cindy Crawford, and Barry Diller. After selling the Inn, James began a new chapter in Atlanta, where the artistry of Atlanta Ballet and a transformative friendship with John McFall drew him deeply into the world of ballet. As a mentor to dancers across the U.S. and Europe, a passionate arts advocate, and a driving force behind Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, James Weis continues to shape the cultural landscape.

Jane Blount

Jane Blount is currently Legal Director for Wizarding World Digital at Warner Bros Discovery. Prior to that, she was counsel for global marketing and international licensing for the Coca-Cola company, and marketing counsel for the International Olympic Committee and the American Cancer Society. In addition to serving on the board of Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre since its inception, Jane serves as board president of Georgia Lawyers for the Arts. She also serves on the boards of the ArtFarm at Serenbe, on the Atlanta Symphony Advisory Committee, on the Arts and Culture Committee of Impact 100 Atlanta, and serves as an assigned mentor to GSU Law students. Jane loves to travel with her family and has hiked on all 7 continents. Her favorite artist is her husband, Greg Blount.

Justin Sullivan

Justin Sullivan is Senior Vice President & Market Director for PNC Private Bank and Hawthorn Family Office, where he leads a team of professionals advising families around wealth and family legacy. Lynn Cochran

Lynn Cochran is a patron of the arts, especially ballet as she is an "antique ballerina" having danced with Atlanta Ballet. Lynn is also involved with the Westminster Schools and Winship Cancer Center. Lynn is so honored to serve on the board for Terminus Modern Ballet Theater, and she finds it extremely rewarding to watch this amazing company grow and become a force in the dance world.

Melissa Siegelman

Melissa Siegelman is currently Vice President and General Counsel for Honeywell Building Solutions. Her nearly two decades of legal work, both in private practice and in-house roles, has honed her legal acumen as to a wide range of subjects, including intellectual property, technology, entertainment, and industrial matters. Melissa also brings to the Terminus Board her love for dance and the arts, as she was a former dancer and dance teacher.

Rachel Van Buskirk

In addition to her dance career, Rachel is a passionate educator and mentor who has taught at schools across Atlanta and the country. Her teaching philosophy centers around empowering students to realize their potential, instilling the discipline to achieve their goals, and nurturing their individuality. As a teacher, she believes in helping students realize their potential, encouraging the discipline to reach their goals, and nourishing their unique voice. Rachel has choreographed several short works for Terminus' school and company, co-created a duet, Treaty, commissioned for the Sweet Pea Festival in Montana, created a children's ballet, Peter & the Wolf, partnered with the Alliance Theatre, and produced The Nutcracker Suite on the Terminus Student Company. Concurrently, Rachel is pursuing a Business Degree in Management at Georgia State University, showcasing her unwavering commitment to both artistic and academic excellence.

Scott Wheet

Scott Wheet, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, began dancing at the age of 17 following nearly a decade of studying music & theater. In 2015, Scott graduated summa cum laude from Troy University with a BFA in Dance. During his journey from academia to the present, Scott studied alongside artists including Kristin O'Neal, Germana Civera, Tracy Gilland, Dominique Angel, Kyle Abraham, Claudia Lavista, Jen Nugent, and Pamela Pietro to name a few. Since moving to Atlanta, he has worked with T. Lang Dance, Core Dance, Staibdance and Fly on a Wall as a collaborator and artist performing new and innovative works. In his free time, Scott dove head-first into the world of production, honing skills as a stage manager, electrician, and lighting designer. In 2023, Scott joined Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre full-time as Production Director; he continues to teach regular movement classes and support independent artists around the Atlanta-metro area.

Skye Blevins

Skye Blevins is thrilled to join the Terminus Board! As someone with over 25 years of experience in the world of dance and who has trained pre-professionally with various ballet companies and schools including the LaFayette Society for Performing Arts, Atlanta Ballet, Montgomery Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theater, she enthusiastically continues to use her lifelong passion of dance to inspire others to engage with the art form and support the growth of the dance community. In addition to her artistic background, Skye brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to her professional endeavors. She earned a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. She currently serves as an Engineering Leader at Newell Brands, where she leads a team dedicated to maintaining and sustaining production platforms for baby car seats. An advocate for fostering new generations of dancers, dance enthusiasts, and patrons, Skye co-founded the Young Terminators organization for Terminus Modern Ballet Theater in 2023 and has served on the committee since its inception. She also continues to teach dance and eagerly shares her passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm for it. She is looking forward to continuing to foster creativity, innovation, and the arts in our city.

Stacy Crane - Treasurer

Stacy currently serves as the president of Winter Properties, a multi-class real estate development firm based in Atlanta. Prior to running Winter Properties, Stacy spent 15 years as a life insurance actuary at ING and KPMG. Stacy is a graduate of Smith College where she studied mathematics.

Tara Lee

Tara Lee received her dance training from Donna Bonasera of Connecticut Dance Theatre, and received a full scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School. While dancing with Joffrey II in New York City, John McFall invited her to join Atlanta Ballet, where she became a principal artist for 21 years. Tara has also been a member of Ballet British Columbia and a guest artist with New Orleans Ballet Theatre and Dominic Walsh Dance Theatre in Houston. She has performed internationally in London, Toronto, Beijing, Seoul, and at the Kennedy Center, Joyce Theatre, and Lincoln Center. She has performed work by celebrated choreographers such as Gerald Arpino, Jorma Elo, Christopher Hampson, James Kudelka, Jiri Kylian, Wayne McGregor, Ohad Naharin, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Gina Patterson, Helen Pickett, Michael Pink, Crystal Pite, Yuri Possokhov, Alexei Ramantsky, Liam Scarlett, Lauri Stallings, Ben Stevenson, Twyla Tharp and Stanton Welch. Principal roles include Odette in Swan Lake, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Ophelia in Hamlet, Mina in Dracula, Faith/Death in Rite of Spring, Esmeralda in Camino Real, Shee in Big, and the title roles in Madame Butterfly, Cinderella, and Firebird. In 2017, Tara co-founded Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, where she is currently rehearsal director, choreographer and teacher. She has created several critically-acclaimed works for TMBT, Atlanta Ballet, New Orleans Ballet Theatre, NYC's Joyce Theatre and Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Emory Dance Company, and was named Atlanta Magazine's "Best Choreographer to Watch in 2018". Her first dance film, The Poet - a collaboration with Joseph Guay premiered in 2021 and was featured on Marquee TV. It was awarded Official Selection at several film festivals, including Montreal Independent Film Festival, Berlin International Art Film Festival and San Francisco Arthouse Short Festival. She is very grateful to have had a long and joyful career in dance, and to have collaborated with so many inspired artists.
