Jane Heft

Job Titles:
  • Creative Director
Jane began her design career in 1985, in retail advertising for a 130-store women's fashion and accessories chain in Allentown, PA. By the time she was 23, she was Advertising Director, had several pieces published nationally in ADweek and continued in advertising until 1993. Deciding to spread her focus from fashion into the entertainment industry, she did design work for leading artists and companies such as MCA, RCA and Electra Records. In 1995, she moved into brand communications working with the Donaldson Group, a Connecticut-based firm. As an Art Director, she had the opportunity to work with several great clients, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, 3M, Pitney Bowes, Imagistics, Hasbro/Milton Bradley, Danskin, The Hartford, Henkel Loctite, Orvis, Gillette and Duracell, The EMCOR Group, United Natural Foods, and others. There, she learned the art of the Annual Report, honed her branding skills, developed a fetish for packaging and internet design-working with the extremely talented TDG team, picked up a clio and numerous other national and international design awards along the way. Jane returned to the Lehigh Valley in 2003 and established enze, branding and design communications. While believing strongly in strategic alliances and local allegiance, Jane also remains an Art Director with the Donaldson Group in Connecticut and is Creative and Design Director of the City Center Lehigh Valley Project. Jane is on the Arts Education Board of Northampton County Community College, and a member of the American Advertising Federation.
