JAM STRUCTURAL DESIGN - Key Persons
Chris is an experienced Structural Engineer who enjoys the challenge of designing complex structures of all sizes. He has designed 27 storey reinforced concrete frames, Leisure Buildings, Industrial structures, New Build Houses and Extensions and also small structures where you never thought an Engineer would be required! Chris enjoys getting involved early in a project to help advise Clients and Architects of possible structural options. He also has experience offering Construction Stage support to helping Contractors with on-site queries.
He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2014 and stayed in Yorkshire following his graduation with his young family and dog. In his free time he enjoys dog walks in the Peak District and Sherwood Forest as well as going to watch the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey team. During the Summer he plays cricket for a local Sheffield team when he hasn't managed to injure himself playing it!
Max is a talented Structural Engineer who's developed a good range of experience since graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2021.
Max is a keen caver. He stayed in Sheffield after graduation to make the most of the Peak District's cave networks and enjoys heading off on adventures whenever he can.
Steve is our Office Manager and is responsible for ensuring everything runs seamlessly at JAM.
He's always had a keen interest in creative projects and a fascination with how each stage of the process unfolds.
Outside of office life, you will usually find Steve running, cycling or walking his dogs through the peaks & around the reservoirs that surround Sheffield. He's also a passionate supporter of Everton FC, but doesn't like to admit it sometimes.
