Dr. Hooman Adamous

Dr. Adamous earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California Los Angeles in 2002. He then attended the University of Connecticut, where he earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree in 2006. Afterwards, he was accepted to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of Connecticut. During his five-year residency training at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Adamous performed the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures and developed particular interest in dental implantology, dental extractions, pathology, tumor resection and reconstruction, facial trauma and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Adamous is a diplomate of American board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has lectured on various topics at society meetings to fellow Oral Surgery colleagues as well as taught dental and medical students via lectures and hands-on surgical anatomy courses. He has also co-authored a chapter in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Knowledge Update. Dr. Adamous is a former clinical professor of Oral Surgery at the Ohio State University. Hooman Adamous, DMD and Brittany Sonnischsen, DMD have expertise in all things oral and maxillofacial surgery, including but not limited to simple wisdom teeth removal, to corrective jaw surgery and implant placement under general sedation.
