Known as "Daryl" to his patients, he is a 1980 graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He believes in practicing preventive dentistry, an approach to provide quality dentistry while enabling our patients to enjoy and maintain healthy gums and teeth. Daryl is skillful and gentle while keeping the patient's comfort in mind at all times. He is very personable, takes time to listen to each patient's needs and/or concerns, and has a wonderful way of making them feel comfortable. His calm and soothing approach can make even the most fearful patient feel at ease. His patients appreciate the fact that he always takes time to explain in words they can understand, his findings and what options of dental care and treatment are available to them. He has an incredible ability to visualize what a patient's smile could look like and the skill and talent to make the vision a reality. Some patients call him the "miracle man" after seeing the results of their new smile. On a personal note: Daryl grew up in Seattle and graduated from Ingraham High School, Shoreline Community College, and the University of Washington before entering the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He and his wife, Stacie, have been married since 1973 and have three sons, Keagan, Colby and Kale, all of whom are part of Eckland Family Dentistry. Daryl's interests include his family and friends, cooking, wine collecting, skiing, baseball, traveling, and cars… he still owns his very first car, a red 1959 Austin Healey! Dr. Daryl Eckland started his general dentistry practice in Downtown Woodinville in 1980. Treating the entire family has always been a top priority to Dr. Daryl. His three sons saw the impact their Dad had over the years with his patients and one by one, they all decided to join their father in the field of Family Dentistry. Today, Dr. Keagan practices along side his father in Woodinville, while Dr. Colby and Dr. Kale both practice in Downtown Redmond. Kale also has a practice in Everett.

He then headed east to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. His move to Michigan was just a temporary one, as he knew he would be moving back "home" to Seattle. After graduating in the top of his class, Kale said good-bye to Ann Arbor, a city he is very fond of, and returned home to friends and family. Dr. Kale Eckland's top priority is to provide the best treatments for his patients with a personalized approach. He works closely along side specialists in both the Everett and Redmond dental communities, to ensure his patients care is optimal. On a personal note: Kale grew up locally and attended Inglemoor High School and the University of Washington before entering the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially if it involves college football. Kale is also an avid golfer and can be found on the links most weekends.
