Christy Fisher, chief legal officer (interim) for Embrace Families, has been an attorney in child welfare for the last 16 years, advocating for children and families in Florida. Prior to joining Embrace Families, Christy was managing attorney for Circuit 9 and Circuit 18 (Seminole county) for Children's Legal Services at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Christy was responsible for oversight of all dependency cases within the tri-county area and managed three legal offices. Throughout Christy's career, she held positions as an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County and assistant attorney general in Broward County. She also taught public policy for several years at Johnson University and trained in numerous areas of child welfare. More recently, Christy has served as a consultant and trainer for the Strong Foundations Project, which focuses on improving reunification practices for families. In her position, she has trained the judiciary, attorneys and system of care partners within Florida. Christy graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1999 with a Major in Government and concentration in International Peace Studies. She also received her Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame in 2003.

Dominic Watson

Dominic Watson joined Embrace Families in July 2022 as vice president of Child Welfare Operations with over 20 years of child welfare experience in Florida. Dominic oversees all program operations for diversion services, case management, licensing and placement, utilization management, out-of-home care, foster youth services, and adoptions. He previously served as executive director/vice president of the Florida program at Neighbor to Family, as director of case management and youth services at ChildNet, and in progressive leadership roles with United for Families and Family Preservation Services. Dominic received his bachelors degree from the University of South Florida and masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dominic is a longtime, active member of the Florida Coalition for Children.

Jennifer Anan

Jennifer Anan joined Embrace Families CBC in 2021 with over 14 years of experience in child welfare. Starting her career as a case manager, she transitioned to working in child abuse investigations for 5 years before going to the lead CBC in the Northeast Region, Family Support Services of North Florida, to serve children in a different role. Jennifer served in varying leadership roles while at Family Support Services, from managing foster care placement and behavioral health to executive leadership in operations as the Chief of Staff. She uses her direct knowledge of the frontline to develop and implement innovative programs and policies for children in the foster care system. Jennifer has trained many external stakeholders on the system of care and other specialty issues within the community. She is a firm believer in community-based care, knowing that it takes the community to work together to heal children and families. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida. She has special training certifications in many different areas to include working with human trafficking victims, executive leadership and project management. Some of her hobbies include painting, reading classic mystery novels, and trying new coffee shops in the area.

Mark Jackson - Chairman

Mark Jackson is a founding partner with JCJ Insurance Agency. For more than 25 years, he has specialized in providing professional liability and other commercial insurance for architects, engineers and professional consultants. Participating in various loss prevention and risk management seminars, he has earned the designation of Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Insurance Institute of America. Mark provides an array of services, including risk management surveys, policy comparisons and contract review. Prior to forming his own firm, Mark was a senior vice president at Lykes Insurance Inc. for 19 years. Mark currently serves as president and board member for a/e ProNet, an international network of insurance brokers that specializes in serving design professionals. Mark graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Mark and his wife, Katrina, live in Winter Park with their three kids, Emily, Stuart and Audrey.

Maureen Brockman

Maureen has spent the majority of her career developing and implementing marketing and communication initiatives on behalf of the Central Florida community. She has served as the executive director of a 501c3 charitable foundation, as well as an active volunteer board member with numerous organizations such as UCP of Central Florida and Shepherd's Hope. Prior to Embrace Families, Maureen was senior vice president of corporate communications for Triad Isotopes, where she led a comprehensive marketing and communication program for the second largest pharmaceutical company in the country. She was also vice president of marketing and communications for the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, where she managed a team responsible for all aspects of advertising, social media, event promotion and community relations. Maureen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Florida State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. And she graduated with her Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Central Florida.

Nikki Riggsbee

Nikki Riggsbee has more than 20 years of experience in child welfare, beginning her career as a child protection investigator in Orlando. After serving in various case management roles, including as a senior supervisor and assistant director of programs, she joined Embrace Families in 2016 as quality manager, Interstate Compact Placement of Children/Out of County Services. She went on to serve as operations manager and is now executive director of Embrace Families Community Based Care Orange County West. Nikki is passionate about child welfare and uses her experience and knowledge to obtain the best outcomes for the children and families she serves. She works closely with the case management organization to support their efforts to achieve that same goal. In addition to a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from North Carolina Central University, Nikki earned a Master of Arts in forensic psychology and a Master of Science in human services with a specialization in counseling. She is also Florida certified in child welfare.

Stacy Peacock

Stacy Peacock, chief administrative officer, has over 20 years of experience in both state and privatized environments within the child welfare, health and human services field. Stacy oversees the functional areas of human resources, information technology, business analytics and automation, business and property management, information and eligibility services, and administrative support. Since joining Embrace Families in 2005, Stacy has been instrumental in the roles of vice president of Information and Eligibility and director of administration. Stacy previously served as director of information management at Children's Home Society of Florida and Utilization Management at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Stacy received a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida.
