EXA INFRASTRUCTURE - Key Persons
Adeel Ahmad is the Chief Financial Officer of EXA Infrastructure, holding global responsibility for financial planning, accounting, tax and treasury. He has over 20 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, distribution, telecommunications and accounting industries. Adeel previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of ADVANZ PHARMA, where he played a key role in the company's $2.1 billion sale to a leading private equity firm in 2021. Prior to joining ADVANZ in 2013, Adeel was the CFO of Indian operations for Ingram Micro Mobility (formerly BrightPoint) in New Delhi, having held a number of increasingly senior finance roles with Nortel Networks from 2003-2012 in Canada, South Korea and China. He started his career with Deloitte LLP in Toronto. Adeel holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a Chartered Accountancy designation from Canada.
Carrie is the Chief People Officer of EXA Infrastructure and heads-up our People and Culture strategy. She has more than 20 years' HR experience across numerous sectors including software, healthcare, financial services and energy. She has spearheaded a diverse range of projects, from transformational change leadership and talent development to management and international employee relations. Carrie joined EXA Infrastructure from General Electric, where she led the HR function for the GE Digital International business across 60+ countries. She began her career at Barclays, working across both the domestic and international businesses. Carrie holds an MSc in International HR Management from Cranfield and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Kent at Canterbury. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Ciaran is EXA Infrastructure's Chief Operating Officer. He's responsible for leading Exa Infrastructure's Network Operations, Engineering, Delivery, Customer Assurance, Vendor and Strategic Program Management teams. Prior to EXA Infrastructure, Ciaran lead GTT's Optical Engineering and Operational teams, stream lining operational and engineering processes including organizational development, while working on GTT's technical M&A strategy, Global Network integration, consolidation and the completion of complex network synergy programs. Ciaran has nearly 20 years experience in the Telecoms industry with in-depth knowledge of IP, Ethernet, Submarine & Terrestrial Optical Transmission systems. He spent much of his career at Hibernia Networks, recruiting and training the first operational teams in 2007 while building out their Global footprint. He served in multiple senior leadership roles delivering multiple industry recognised projects.

Jeremy is EXA Infrastructure's Chief Technology & Information Officer. His 30 years' international experience in telecoms and technology includes senior leadership roles with Casa Systems, BT, Tellabs and Level 3, where he was part of the original European team delivering long-distance, metro and transatlantic fibre infrastructure and data centres. For BT, Jeremy led major network and systems programmes including the UK's first scale fibre to the home build, which led him to co-found LightSpeed Fibre Holdings, raising over £100m investment to develop digital infrastructure in under-served areas. He has advised on billions of Euros of M&A transactions and delivered multiple integration projects. Jeremy holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSc in Telecoms Engineering from King's College London and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology.
Jocelyn Cho is EXA Infrastructure's General Counsel. She is responsible for the company's legal, compliance and corporate governance matters. Jocelyn has over 20 years of experience advising and working with international financial institutions, blue chip corporates, start-ups and established technology companies. Jocelyn joined EXA Infrastructure from Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) where she served as the General Counsel of GCX and helped drive transformational change to create value for the company's institutional shareholders and played an important role in the company's successful sale to a private equity firm in 2022. Prior to GCX, Jocelyn held investment banking and legal roles with Barclays Capital in Asia Pacific. Before that, Jocelyn was a senior US corporate finance lawyer at Linklaters in both London and Hong Kong, and practiced with Jones Day in the Silicon Valley. Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law. Jocelyn is a member of the California Bar.
Nicholas leads all go-to-market domains aimed at serving EXA Infrastructure customers. He brings with him more than 20 years' experience in international telecoms and has earned a reputation for building an organisational culture that revolves around the customer. He also has a strong track-record in leading growth businesses and delivering on transformational change focused on the overall customer experience. Prior to joining EXA Infrastructure, he held several executive and leadership roles at Telstra. Most recently he was based in the United States, where he was president and managing director of Telstra's business across the Americas. Previously he was in Hong Kong, leading the business operations group for Telstra's $6 billion enterprise sales division, which operated across 22 countries.

Steve is responsible for EXA Infrastructure's network investment strategy. He has 25 years' experience gained in Infrastructure companies from start-ups, including Fibernet and 360 Networks, to established players such as Global Crossing, Interoute and GTT. With a broad background in technical, engineering and commercial roles, he has led major product release, business transformation and network investment programmes. Prior to EXA Infrastructure, Steve served on the senior leadership teams of Interoute and GTT as VP of Product, managing a global portfolio of network services and infrastructure products.
