Dr. Malhotra founded Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates, P.C. in 1989. He is a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at D.C. General Hospital/Georgetown University Medical Program and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Malhotra has served as the chairman of the Gastroenterology Department at Inova Alexandria Hospital, the president of the Virginia Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Dr. Malhotra is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American Gastroenterological Association.
