Adrian Pike joined the company's board in July 2020. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management and he has over 30 years of experience in the utility and energy infrastructure sectors. Adrian, who resides in Britain, started his career as an apprentice electrician at Scottish and Southern Energy and rose through the ranks to become Group Managing Director. In 2010 he co-founded Anesco Ltd. and was the Chief Executive Officer until 2016. Later, Adrian co-founded InstaVolt Ltd, Britain's largest rapid EV network, and he is currently Chairman of the Board. Furthermore, he is Chairman of the Board of Enviromenia.

Birna Lárusdóttir holds a B.A. degree in Mass Communcations from the University of Washington in the United States and an M.A. degree in Practical Editorship and Theory of Publication from the University of Iceland. She joined HS Orka as a communications officer in April 2023, but she has a long career in editorship, journalism, public relations and translations. She was the communications officer at Vesturverk in Ísafjörður, a subsidiary of HS Orka, between 2018-2020, and a project manager at the University Center of the Westfjords 2015-2017. Birna served on the council of Ísafjarðarbær municipality from 1998-2010 and she has held various committee and board positions for state and local authorities. She has been on the board of the Icelandic Basketball Association since 2017.
Bjarni Þórður Bjarnason joined the company's board in June 2019. Bjarni Þórður holds a C.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland and an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas, USA. Bjarni Þórður co-founded Arctica Finance and is currently the company's Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Furthermore, he is a member of the boards of Arctica eignarhaldsfélag, Árvakur and Þórsmörk. Between 2003-2009 Bjarni Þórður wasDirector of Corporate Finance at Landsbankinn hf. In recent years he has advices many Icelandic and international investors in M&A and capital raising.

Friðrik Friðriksson is an electrical engineer from the University of Southern Denmark, and he is the Executive Vice President of Sales at HS Orka. He has managed energy purchases and energy sales of the company and its predessecor since 2002 in addition to having extensive experience in power plant production management for the electricity market. He also has broad experience in the operation and development of distribution systems of energy companies. He joined the Icelandic energy sector in 1992, first as an engineer and later as a manager at Bæjarveitur Vestmannaeyja until the company merged with Hitaveita Suðurnesja in 2002. Friðrik became a part of HS Orka when Hitaveita Suðurnesja was split up in 2008. He has served as boardmember at Netorka, Farice, Samorka, Suðurorka og Vesturverk as well as in various councils within the Icelandic energy sector.

Heike Bergmann joined the board of the company in May 2019. Heike holds a Master's Degree of Business Administration and Electrical Engineering from the Technische Universität Darmstadt. She resides in Germany and has a long experience in sales and marketing in the utility and energy infrastructure sectors. She became Senior Vice President of Sales for Africa at Voith Hydro Holding GmbH&Co in 2016 after serving as the company's Managing Director from 2012. She is Vice Chairman of the Sub-Sahara Africa Initiative of the German Industry and a member of the Private Sector Advisory Board of GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH).

Jón Ásgeirsson joined HS Orka in March 2020 as Excecutive Vice President of Strategy and Improvement, and the Resource Park. Previously, he worked at Rio Tinto; first for over ten years in Straumsvík, where among other positions he was manager of the casthouse, and after that he was with the company for another ten years in Paris and Montreal. There he held various management positions in sales and marketing, procurement and business development. Before joining HS Orka he advised international companies on transformations. Jón is a member of various boards as well as being chairman of the Red Cross in the capital region of Reykjavík. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Iceland and a master´s degree in Process Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
Kristinn Harðarson holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University in Iceland, an M.Sc. degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and an MBA degree from the University of Iceland. He was appointed HS Orka's Executive Vice President of Operations in January 2021. Prior to joining HS Orka he worked as the managing director of power plant operations at ON Power and prior to that he worked at Alcoa for fourteen years where he held various roles including manager of CAPEX continuous improvement and technology, as well as being potroom operations manager in the Alcoa Fjarðaál aluminium plant.

Margrét Ormslev Ásgeirsdóttir joined the board in April 2023. Margrét holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Iceland as well as an M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Systems and Policies from the School of Renewable Energy Science. Margrét is Head of Operations at Transition Labs, a private climate initiative that partners with high impact climate projects from around the world. Previous positions include senior management roles at Carbon Recycling International and Partner at Brunnur Ventures in addition to advising on business development, corporate finance, corporate banking, and corporate restructuring at Landsbankinn. Margrét has served on numerous boards, both in the private and public sector.

Tómas Már Sigurðsson holds a degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Iceland and a master's degree in Planning Engineering from Cornell University in the United States. He was appointed CEO of HS Orka in January 2020. Prior to joining HS Orka Sigurðsson worked at Alcoa for sixteen years where he held roles including President for Alcoa in Iceland, President for Alcoa in Europe and the Middle East, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the company worldwide. Sigurðsson has served on the board of various companies and organizations, including chairman of The Iceland Chamber of Commerce (2009-2012), board member for The Federation of Icelandic Industries (2005-2011) and executive board member for Europe Aluminium, Eurometaux and Business Europe.
