Chase Dahl

Chase Dahl, DPM was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. After graduating high school, he lived in Sydney, Australia for two years before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah where he obtained his Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Utah. He then went to attend medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia. After graduating as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Dahl completed a three-year surgical residency in Tampa, Florida. During his training, Dr. Dahl received specialized training in a wide variety of foot and ankle pathologies, including foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, sports medicine, and general podiatric care. He worked as part of a multi-specialty team with orthopedic and vascular surgeons as well as infectious disease and internal medicine specialists. Dr. Dahl has a wife and four children with a fifth on the way! He enjoyed his time on the east coast, but he is excited to settle down in Southern California near his wife's hometown in Orange County. Outside of work Dr. Dahl enjoys spending time with his family, playing the drums, and playing a variety of sports, especially skateboarding with his children. With his diverse training and background, Dr. Dahl will add another dimension to our practice and allow us to offer an even better patient experience. Dr. Mie Shirai

  • Diabetic Foot Care Specialist
Dr. Mie Shirai was born and raised in Nagano, Japan. After graduating from high school Dr. Shirai continued her education in the United States, where she attended Seattle University. While attending Seattle University she decided to pursue a career in medicine and gravitated toward podiatry because of her desire to keep people active and on their feet. Dr. Shirai is a Diabetic Foot Care Specialist. She began to practice in Long Beach after graduating from William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2006 and completing her residency program at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. She now considers Long Beach to be her home. In her free time, Mie enjoys traveling, knitting, cooking and loves spending time with her African Sulcata Tortoise and her Ragdoll Kitty named Sunny. You can catch her in the sky as well these days, training to become a pilot.

Dr. William Spak

Dr. William Spak is a native Californian who received his undergraduate degree in biology from U.C. Irvine in 1982. He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1987 and completed his education with a surgical residency at Doctor's Hospital of Santa Ana in 1988. He is board-certified in podiatric orthopedics and is a qualified medical examiner. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics, the American Diabetes Association and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Dr. Spak enjoys surfing and spending time with his family. He has a son, Garrett, a daughter, Tori and a lovely wife, Dianne. They live in Long Beach and are very active in the community. Dr. Spak has published articles related to fifth metatarsal fractures and has collaborated on research relating to many areas of the foot and ankle. Dr. Spak is an avid reader in his spare time. Dr. Spak is an attending physician at Long Beach Memorial.

Richard H. Graves

Dr. Graves is a Board Certified Podiatrist at Sol Foot and Ankle Centers in Long Beach and has been practicing in the Southern California area for 20 years. Graduating from the California School of Podiatric Medicine as class valedictorian in 1993, Dr. Graves specializes in sports medicine and running injuries and is an expert in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. Growing up in Long Beach he ran track and cross country at Lakewood High School, Long Beach City College, and UC Irvine, where he earned NCAA All-American honors in both track and cross country. It was his involvement in running and sports that fueled Dr. Graves' desire to become a podiatrist. Dr. Graves continues to enjoy competitive running and finished the 2015 Boston Marathon. He also enjoys giving back and serving local charitable organizations such as the Southern California Special Olympics Clinical Director for the Healthy Athlete's Fit Feet and is a Board Member of Urban Community Outreach, a nonprofit in Long Beach. But Dr. Graves's favorite time is spent with his four granddaughters.
