UNCLE B'S FARM

This is our first year on the farm here in Richmond. Previously we were growing on a much smaller scale and giving most of the produce away for free. Our goal this year is to find out what works best for our clients and how we can serve them best. In farming there can be many challenges too overcome and with this being our first year we are hopeful that those challenges will be small and easy to overcome. Most farms in the area offer CSA programs that charge an up front cost for an entire growing season. Without knowing what could happen the first season we are going to hold off on CSA memberships until next year and do weekly boxes for this year. Similar to a CSA the box will contain what is in harvest that week or you can special order what you want in your box that week. We are hopeful that next season we will be able to offer CSA memberships after farming on the property for one year.
