SeaWild is creating a sustainable seaweed farming model. We intend to cultivate seaweed in UK coastal waters, harvest that seaweed and sell it as a commodity. Seaweed can be used as fertiliser, animal food, biofuel additives, in the pharmaceutical and food production industries, as packaging and as a food source in itself. With support and encouragement from professionals in the marine industry, leading academics and commercial partners, we intend to create healthy marine seaweed habitats that will foster and sustain a new environmentally friendly industry... SeaWild was formed to re-generate sea wildlife by growing seaweed. That regeneration will help to reduce the impact of carbon emissions, generate sustainable commodities and help to replenish fish stocks...
