Alison joined Kirbys in 1999 and is Head of the Family Law Team. Alison is one of the four Directors and also one of the longest standing members of the Management / Executive Team.
Catherine is a solicitor with 15 years' experience in dealing with administration of estates, wills, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax and deputyship matters.

Charlotte joined Kirbys in 2022 as an Associate Solicitor having worked previously in senior roles at international and regional law firms in both Leeds and Harrogate.

David joined Kirbys in 2013, becoming Head of Dispute Resolution in 2015 and he is now one of the four Directors. Before returning to legal practice in 2005 David was a senior lecturer in Litigation at the College of Law and wrote and delivered the course content and textbook for the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
David is also the risk and compliance manager for Kirbys ensuring that the Practice is adhering to the many regulatory and other requirements necessary.
Biography
Georgia graduated from York St. John University in 2022 after completing her Law degree and joined Kirbys Private Client team in May 2023.
Georgia has previously worked as an assistant alongside her studies in various Law firms across York and Harrogate.
Outside of work Georgia enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Mat joined the firm as Practice Manager in September of 2022 from another local Harrogate Law firm and has been working in Legal Finance since 2013. He is an associate of The Institute of Legal Financial Management and is also a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Nicola joined Kirbys in 2020 as a senior solicitor. Having qualified in 2003, Nicola was previously Head of Private Client at a leading law firm in Leeds and an associate solicitor at a well-established firm in Ilkley.
Nicola is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), and specialises in wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection work.

Wendy joined Kirbys in 2022 as a senior solicitor having worked previously in senior roles at national and regional law firms. She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and since then has worked exclusively in the private client sector.
Wendy is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and specialises in Wills, Probate and Court of Protection matters including Deputyship Applications and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
