Chris Brooks - CEO

Chris joined CSignum in October 2020 as CEO. With more than 35 years experience across several industry sectors, his primary focus in each has been developing customer solutions and international growth coupled with organisational cultural development. Chris has been President of a private equity backed subsea engineering business focused on the installation of subsea umbilicals, flowlines and cables and Sales Director for a large, multi-national installation and maintenance provider to the subsea telecommunications sector and more recently was Group CEO with a private equity backed business centred on the subsea construction sector. Chris has lived and worked in many different countries: New Zealand; Australia; Papua New Guinea; Singapore; USA and the UK and has led projects worldwide. He has specific subsea marine business development experience in North and South America, Asia, India and Europe and has served on the board of several companies internationally.

Fraser Galloway

Fraser is the Product Manager & Chief Engineer at CSignum and is highly experienced at bringing together multi-disciplinary systems and products from his time working in senior level roles in the Oil & Gas and Consumer Electronics industries. Fraser graduated from the University of Edinburgh and holds a 1st Class Master degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer with the IET. As a technical authority he has successfully designed and tested multiple high-value subsea control systems and has also created numerous large-volume RF consumer electronics devices such as phones and headsets. As a result, he has a unique insight into systems and the challenges and opportunities of creating wireless communications systems/products in the underwater environment.

Mark Rhodes - CTO

Job Titles:

Mark is the original inventor of digital through water radio communications and has over 30 granted patents in this field. He has a track record of innovation, and translating technology into commercial product development, in a broad range of technology areas including cellular communications, airborne radar, industrial condition monitoring and fiber optic communications. He believes the CSignum Modem is just the start of the innovation possible with our platform, which provides a building block approach to rapidly developing solutions that meet the digitisation needs of our customers.
