Quanterra was founded as a spin-out from University of Exeter in 2021. Building on years of scientific experience, the founding team aims to drive greater use of advanced ecosystem monitoring approaches in our push for a better world... Quanterra Systems Ltd is based in Exeter in the South West of the UK, and has a wholly owned subsidiary in the USA, Quanterra Systems Inc. The group currently has more than 120 flux towers deployed across the UK and USA, and research projects in Uganda and Colombia.
