Alexander is a co-founder of Moonfare and supports Moonfare as a Board Member. He brings deep experience as an entrepreneur and investor, having built and invested in companies over the past 12 years. Alexander is also a co-founder of 7 Global Capital, a cross-border technology growth fund with offices in San Francisco and Berlin. Previously, Alexander co-founded Somuchmore, a pan-European health and fitness technology platform that was acquired in 2016. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he was a member of KKR's Private Equity team having worked on a number of transactions across technology, business services, and energy. Alexander started his career with J.P. Morgan in Investment Banking in New York and London. He has completed his military service in Greece, serving in the anti-aircraft artillery battalion in the island of Limnos and at the army's command center in Athens. He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree with a dual major in Civil Engineering and Economics from Tufts University (magna cum laude), and obtained his MBA from INSEAD. Alexander lives in Berlin, is passionate about world affairs, and loves the Aegean sea.

Anastasia joined the Moonfare team in October 2018 as a Full Stack Developer. Before joining Moonfare, Anastasia worked as a developer at various start-ups around the world, including WijnSpijs in Netherlands and Toddy in Australia. Anastasia graduated in 2012 Kryvyi Rih National University, with a Master's degree in Computer Applications focusing on Applied Mathematics and Informatics. In her spare time, Anastasia dedicates most of her time to her family and friends. Besides that, she is interested in psychology, neurobiology, movies and sport, especially cycling and squash. Anastasia loves attending IT conferences to expand her knowledge and network with fellow professionals. Also, she actively follows the news in the world of Technology.

As Partnerships Manager, Antonia's role is to develop Moonfare's partner distribution channel by establishing collaborations with private banks, multi-family offices and professional service providers to allow their clients to access Moonfare's private equity offering. She joined in December 2018 after 8 years in London, where she most recently worked as a Senior Team Leader at GLG - the world's leading platform connecting business to expert insight. There she was managing a team of client-facing professionals working with private equity funds based in France, Italy and the Benelux. Prior to GLG, she held various commercial and key account management roles in financial services, including at Euromoney Institutional Investor. Antonia holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a degree in Business Administration from ESCE Paris. She is an avid reader, podcast listener and traveller, which she loves to combine with her passion for food.
Antonia started her career at Moonfare in 2020, after completing her MSc in Finance at NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. She joins the investment team as analyst, where she is responsible for evaluating and monitoring investment opportunities in the alternative asset space for Moonfare's platform. Previously, Antonia gained relevant work experience in the field of finance, due diligence and valuation during internships at a Munich-based multi-family holding focusing on small cap buyouts, DZ Bank Corporate Finance and PwC Assurance. Antonia holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Maastricht University with a major in finance. In her free time, she likes to travel the world and play Tennis.

Christian joined Fidelity in August 2018 as Managing Director Europe and is responsible for managing the wholesale and institutional client-facing businesses across Europe. He serves as a member of the Moonfare advisory board since 2021. Christian worked for some of the financial sector's most respected names including BlackRock, Allianz Asset Management, UBS and PIMCO. He has worked in the US, Asia, where he spent three years, and Europe. He has experience of managing large businesses at scale, as well as broad responsibility for distribution across all business lines in Europe, and global responsibility for major client relationships. He trained initially as an investment analyst and extended his investment knowledge further at PIMCO. Christian graduated in Finance from the University of St. Gallen and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School; he is also a CFA Charterholder.

David joined the Moonfare team in September 2018 as a Software QA Engineer. Working to deliver bespoke, detailed orientated processes and automation for the platform, he brings many years of QA experience with him from the European tech industry. Before joining Moonfare, he worked at leading multinational companies including DeliveryHero, American Express and First Data. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Bournemouth University. When he isn't working, David is passionate about music, art and his blossoming family within the vibrant hub of Berlin.
Dimitri joined Moonfare in July 2017, taking the lead on the Business Development efforts of the company. He started his career at J.P. Morgan's Private Bank in London where he spent five years advising Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and family offices on portfolio construction and tactical trading. While at J.P. Morgan, Dimitri advised on multi-asset class portfolios ranging from public to private investments and was instrumental in the execution of a regulatory project impacting clients across EMEA. Dimitri completed his military training in Greece serving first in the Light Anti-aircraft Battalion and subsequently on the Supreme Military Support Command. He completed his undergraduate studies at Tufts University acquiring a double major in Economics and International Relations and holds an MBA from INSEAD. When not in the office, Dimitri enjoys skiing, building his vinyl collection and, as a true Greek, finding ways to get closer to the sea.

Heinrich is a Co-founder of Moonfare and supports Moonfare as a Board Member, strategic advisor and Chairman of Asia. Heinrich is a Professor in the MBA and Executive Programs at IESE Business School and the Chairman of the Munich Campus of IESE. He specializes in entrepreneurial finance, management of wealth and governance of entrepreneurial families. Heinrich is co-author on several publications on private equity. His ongoing research in this field focuses on operational value creation in private equity, impact investing and governance of entrepreneurial families. As a consultant he collaborated with leading families and financial institutions and serves on the board of family controlled foundations. Prior to his academic career, Professor Liechtenstein was engaged in the family-owned Liechtenstein Global Trust (LGT) dealing with ultra high net worth individuals. He also advised families within the Boston Consulting Group and established and sold two successful businesses. Heinrich holds a Ph.D. in Managerial Science and Applied Economics from The Economics School of Vienna, Austria, a Master's degree in Business Administration from IESE Business School, and a BSc in Business Economics from the University of Graz. Heinrich lives in Barcelona and Munich.

Lorenz oversees Moonfare's Tech, Product, Finance and Legal/Compliance functions. Prior to Moonfare he was responsible for N26's product until it reached unicorn status and most recently worked as a contractor with startup veterans in San Francisco, which equip him with a lot of FinTech experience. Prior to his startup days Lorenz worked for 12 years at McKinsey - six of those years as a partner. Lorenz is a physicist by training and holds a PhD in material science. In his free time he plays blues guitar and is a passionate amateur road cyclist.

Steffen founded Moonfare in 2016 with the vision to democratize private investing. He runs the company as Chairman and CEO. Steffen is a serial entrepreneur with a strong background in the private equity industry. Before becoming an entrepreneur Steffen served as a Managing Director of private equity at KKR.
While at KKR, he was responsible for the firm's coverage of the German market. Prior to joining KKR, he was co-founder and served as Chief Executive Officer of firstfive AG. He served as Chairman of The Supervisory Board at A.T.U Auto-Teile-Unger Investment GmbH & Co. KG and as a member of the Advisory Board at Versatel, Serbia Broadband and Hertha BSC.
Steffen holds a B.A. with high distinction from the University of Mannheim and the Ecole Superieure des Sciences Economiques and a Ph.D. from the University of Trier. He worked as a research assistant at Harvard University where he wrote his master thesis. Steffen lives in Munich with his wife and children.
Enrico joined the Moonfare team in August 2018 as Head of Quality Assurance and Delivery. He and his team make sure that what we deliver on the platform is nothing but the very best and always exceeds user's expectations. Prior to working at Moonfare, he worked in leading QA positions at various multinational companies such as Freenet Digital, Rocket Internet and Delivery Hero, bringing considerable technical expertise. Enrico loves automation and making processes super efficient. On the weekends he is a passionate craftsperson at his own home.

Frederik had a long-standing career at BlackRock, one of the largest asset managers globally and a pioneer in the investment industry. He worked there for 16 years as Head of Alternatives Sales, Head of EMEA Retail Sales and later as Head of International Distribution Technology.

Friedrich is General Counsel at Moonfare. Before joining Moonfare, he worked in the Corporate/M&A team of the German law firm Noerr, primarily advising clients from the private equity sector as well as corporations on international M&A transactions and German corporate law in general. Prior to that, Friedrich worked in the Investment Management Team of Linklaters, advising fund sponsors mainly from the real estate and private equity sectors on the structuring and setting up of alternative investment funds in Germany and Luxembourg, on cross-border marketing of alternative investment funds in the EU, and advising clients on all queries relating to the regulatory framework for alternative investment funds in Europe. Friedrich is a fully qualified German attorney-at-law (Rechtsanwalt) and holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. Friedrich enjoys spending his free time on the countryside with his wife and his three children.
Gargee joined Moonfare in June 2019 to support our People & Culture (HR) department. She looks after core HR functions and is responsible for people operations and is the first point of contact for all our Germany, Hong Kong, and the UK employees. She's a double Masters graduate with a second Masters degree from German University in International HR management. Her first Master's degree is in Business Administration focusing on HR. Prior to joining Moonfare, Gargee has worked as HR Executive with some fast-growing Start-ups as well as some MNCs incl. Sandvik Asia Pvt Ltd and has 3+ years of working experience. In her spare time, Gargee likes to chat with her family and friends who are back in her home country. She enjoys listening to music and is passionate about cooking different cuisines.
Gerardo acts as Head of Product at Moonfare, working with product managers, designers, and engineers to provide our clients a vast selection of digital products. He joined Moonfare in 2017 as the company's first in-house full-stack developer. Having taught himself how to code at the age of 16, Gerardo did not immediately pursue building web products as a profession. He started his career in private banking at J.P. Morgan working as an investment analyst, providing investment advice to high-net worth families and family offices in the Chicago area. During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Gerardo was instrumental in bringing elegant technological solutions to clients in wealth management, serving as an advisor to the firm's digital team. Gerardo holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College in Boston. As a student, Gerardo started several small ventures including the Blue Bird Consulting Group, a Twitter analytics consulting service for Salvadoran political candidates.

Kenneth is the Partnerships Manager for Moonfare in the Asia-Pacific region, establishing and managing relationships with wealth managers (ranging from family offices and digital-only platforms to banks) in order for their clients to enjoy fully digital access to top-quality private market investment opportunities.
Before joining Moonfare in February 2020, Kenneth was a Management Consulting Manager at Accenture, where he advised several of the world's largest banks in defining and executing their digital transformation strategy. He started his career as a Management Trainee at Hang Seng Bank.
Kenneth earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in both Finance and Management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In his free time, he practices his passion for football, tennis, traveling, and good food.

Prior to joining Moonfare, she worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Hungryhouse, a brand of Delivery Hero, making data "do the work" bringing value to the business. She graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Engineering from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. In her spare time, Lilian loves spending time with family and friends, travelling and learning programming and everything data related through online courses.

Lisa is the Business Development Manager for Moonfare Asia. She's responsible for growing the direct consumer and single family offices business, as well as implementing strategy initiatives to achieve higher growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to Moonfare, Lisa worked in the Sales & Trading division covering secondary markets at J.P. Morgan in New York. She co-founded the Penn Wharton China Summit and China Summit Foundation Inc. while at school, which hosted one of the largest student-run US-Sino conferences in the US, featured in both Chinese and US media.
Lisa obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Statistics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a dual degree in Theater Arts at the University of Pennsylvania. She also had a minor in Mathematics. Lisa is originally from Shanghai. In her free time, she loves acting, traveling, hiking and playing musical instruments.

Magnus runs Private Equity for Moonfare, ensuring that our investors have access to a steady flow of top-tier private equity funds. He brings considerable experience from private equity, both as an investor with Apax Partners, and as an operator in Cole Haan, one of the fund's portfolio companies. While at Apax Partners, Magnus advised on a number of transactions in the consumer and retail industry. At Cole Haan, a high-end manufacturer and retailer of footwear and leather goods based in New York, Magnus was responsible for building and executing corporate strategy. Prior to joining Apax Partners, Magnus spent several years at J.P. Morgan in London advising on Consumer, Healthcare and Retail transactions. Magnus earned an MSc with a focus in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics and his MBA from Harvard Business School. In his free time Magnus practices his passions of sports, cooking and photography.

Mariana joined Moonfare in July 2020 as the first Sales Operations Manager to implement process automation and optimization to drive growth for the Commercial Organization. Prior to Moonfare, Mariana relocated to Berlin to join finleap GmbH after four years of working at Uber Technologies in the USA. Mariana earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Olena joined the Moonfare team in June 2018 as Senior Full Stack Developer to give both guidance and consultation building the platform. In 2015 and prior to working at Moonfare, Elena relocated to Berlin because of an offer from Hungryhouse GmbH (which was a part of Delivery Hero). Her valuable and tireless work there was appreciated by the "Top Performance" award. Furthermore, she found herself as a really good speaker while participating in "Women in Tech" events.

Roland is Moonfare's Head of Finance and runs the controlling, accounting, analysis and tax functions. He spent c. 10 years in M&A / transaction advisory at EY in Germany and San Francisco and 1.5 years as the Head of Finance at 7 Global Capital, a tech focused VC / growth fund. Roland joined Moonfare as one of the early team members. He holds a Master's degree (Diplom) from the University of Muenster's business school. Roland loves to spend time outside in nature, hiking or mountain biking, traveling and spending time with his family.

Sam is Head of Investor Solutions, our private-client facing team of investment professionals. Based in Berlin with regular time in London, Sam manages our growing team of Investor Solutions Managers who cover our active regions with specific geographical focuses. Previously, Sam led Moonfare's growth in the UK market having joined the company in February 2020.
Prior to Moonfare, Sam spent 6 years at Coutts & Co. private bank in the International team based in London, where he advised High-Net Worth Individuals and Family Offices on their holistic wealth management including multi-asset class investment planning and structuring across jurisdictions.
Sam holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics and an MBA from INSEAD, spending time across both France and Singapore campuses.

As part of the Business Development team in Asia, Stanley looks after investors in the region and supports the rolling out of initiatives to expand Moonfare's reach. Stanley was the first intern ever in the Asia team before returning as a full-time member after graduation.
Stanley studied Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong with full-tuition scholarships and graduated with First Class Honours. As a student, he travelled extensively for business and entrepreneurship competitions and was honoured multiple awards at the national and international level.
Stanley also studied abroad at the University of Notre Dame as a Lanson Exchange Scholar and has received entrepreneurial training at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Tsinghua University. Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering, reading, coding, and exercising.
Sweta is an Investment Director at Moonfare, with responsibility for investments sourcing and due-diligence across Private Markets asset classes. She has over a decade of experience as a Limited Partner investor, investing in Private Markets Funds and Co-investments across a number of strategies and geographies. Previously she headed up Private Equity advisory at bfinance, a global investment consultancy where she was responsible for advising a wide range of global institutional investors, from pension funds to family offices, on investment strategy and selection, due-diligence and implementation. Prior to that, Sweta was a Senior Investment Manager at RPMI Railpen (the £30bn UK Railways Pension Scheme), where she was responsible for leading Private Equity and Debt investments. She has also held roles at Adveq, USS and ABN Amro before that. She holds an L.L.B from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from INSEAD.
Thomas supports Moonfare as a Board Member and strategic advisor. Until recently, Thomas served as Chairman of Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of ProSieben Digital Media GmbH, a position he held since 2009. Prior to joining ProSieben, Thomas served as Chief Executive Officer of multiple divisions of Novartis AG including Novartis Pharma AG, Pharmaceuticals at Novartis Consumer Health, Inc., Novartis Nutrition World Wide, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Division. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Torrent Systems, Inc. Thomas worked with Pepsi-Cola in Germany as a Marketing Manager, before becoming Marketing Director and National Sales and Franchise Director. Prior to working for Pepsi-Cola, Thomas served in several positions at Reemstma Germany. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at Bayer Aktiengesellschaft (also know as Bayer AG), Member of the Supervisory Board at GfK SE, Member of Advisory Board at UBS Oncology Impact Fund, and Director of Cullinan Oncology, LLC. He serves as a member of the advisory boards of Sivantos, a world leading hearing aid company. Previously, Thomas served as an Independent Director of Lonza Group Ltd and Director of Idenix Pharmaceuticals Inc. Mr. Ebeling holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Hamburg.

Umut joined the Moonfare team in June, 2018 as a Senior Tech Lead. He is responsible for making sure that Moonfare can blend can blend its financial expertise with its technology platform by establishing leading engineering practices. Prior to working at Moonfare, Umut worked at various multinational companies including Microsoft and Delivery Hero. Thus, he brings considerable technical expertise. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Kultur University and studied Project Management at University of California Los Angeles. Currently, he is located in Berlin and he is a devoted drone and skateboard enthusiast. Umut spends his free time riding and building electric skateboards. Also, he is always on the hunt to discover the best food in the town.

Winson Ng - Chief Investment Officer
Winson is a seasoned private markets fund professional with over 20 years experience, and joined Moonfare as Chief Investment Officer in 2020. Prior to this he was at UBS Wealth Management and at GIC the Singaporean sovereign wealth fund, where he managed significant commitments to a large number of private equity funds as well as executed a wide range of co-investments. His coverage has included a full complement of growth, mid-market and large buyout funds as well as funds in mezzanine, credit, infrastructure and venture capital globally. Winson has served as an advisory board member for over 20 private equity funds. He has an MBA from INSEAD and graduated with a medical degree from the University of London.
