Charlie Winterburn graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Ba in Classical and Historical Archaeology, and an Ma in Archaeology and Heritage focussing on heritage discourses. Charlie worked in the field for various firms before moving into consultancy alongside a long period of volunteering with South Yorkshire Archaeology Service.
Landgage Heritage is managed by Will Bedford, an archaeology and heritage consultant with 20 years of professional experience. Will has worked across the UK for a wide range of development sectors. Will has particular expertise in obtaining scheduled monument consents, setting issues and related case law, and in the procurement and management of archaeological contractors. He is also an experienced expert witness at planning appeal hearings and local plan hearings.
