Donal Coughlan

Donal Coughlan, a chartered engineer with over thirty years' experience in the design and construction of large-scale civil engineering projects, has led teams on HS1, the DLR Woolwich Arsenal Extension and the Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade. As Head of Civil and Structural Engineering at Crossrail, he also provides technical support to the HS2 tunnels team. Donal is a technical director with Jacobs and is a Fellow of both the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Engineers Ireland.

Digital and sustainable construction, as well as digital twins and automation, are the main focus of her attention.
