Ally He co-founded International Young Musicians Academy with Jeremy Young, and together a vision to gather highly regarded Musicians from around the world to give young musicians direct access to their experiences. As an education professional, Ally brings her vast experience in providing an excellent learning environment & experience.

Ashley Wass

Ashley Wass was the Artistic Director of the Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival from 2007-2018 and helped develop the festival into one the UK's leading events of its type, with with sold-out performances of challenging and diverse repertoire, and regular broadcasts on BBC Radio 3. Ashley was Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music from 2008-2018, and was appointed as Deputy Head of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in September 2018.

Ian Buckle

Ian Buckle maintains a varied performing career working as soloist, accompanist, chamber musician and orchestral pianist. He enjoys especially strong relationships with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the John Wilson Orchestra, and has appeared with both as soloist on numerous occasions. He has also played concertos with the Royal Philharmonic, the Orchestra of Opera North, Sinfonia Viva and the Manchester Concert Orchestra. Committed to contemporary music, he has been the pianist in Ensemble 10/10 since the group's inception, premiering many new works in concerts nationwide including at Wigmore Hall and on BBC Radio 3. He frequently collaborates with former Poet Laureate Andrew Motion in giving recitals of piano music and poetry, recent programmes including Shropshire and Other Lads, a celebration of A. E. Housman; Anthem for Doomed Youth, a commemoration of World War One; and Philip Larkin's England. Ian is the director and pianist of Pixels Ensemble, a collective of chamber music players with a shared passion for performing the finest repertoire, from the classical period to the present day [pixelsensemble.org]. He teaches at the Universities of Leeds and Liverpool, and is an examiner with ABRSM. Current CD releases include transcriptions for cello and piano with Jonathan Aasgaard, a recital of new works for clarinet and piano with former BBC Young Musician winner Mark Simpson and a disc of English music with clarinettist Nicholas Cox. A recording of Gershwin's New York Rhapsody with the John Wilson Orchestra live from the Royal Albert Hall is available on iTunes, and Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals featuring Ian alongside his duo partner Richard Casey with Vasily Petrenko and the RLPO was recently released on Warner.

Jeremy Young studied as a scholar at the Purcell School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music. His piano teachers included Professor Christopher Elton, Frank Wibaut and Vladimir Ovchinkov. He studied chamber music under the guidance of the Amadeus String Quartet, Andras Schiff and Joseph Seiger at the Royal Academy of Music, Menahem Pressler at the Banff Center of the Performing Arts in Canada and with Dr. Christopher Rowland at the Royal Northern College of Music. The International Young Musicians Academy was established in 2016 by founders Jeremy Young and Ally He, to create an inspiring event that gathered the talents of leading music professionals in the UK. IYMA Artistic Director Jeremy Young has over twenty years of experience as a conservatoire level piano teacher. He holds Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (the highest level of teaching qualification) and is a member of the European Piano Teachers Association. He has developed a series of lectures and classes on pedagogy, rehearsal and practice techniques, interpretation and performance. He is much sought after as a speaker and has recently given teacher training lectures and classes in Dalian, XuHai, Hong Kong in Asia as well as presentations at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Chethams School of Music, Bedford School and the Royal Northern College of Music. Jeremy devised ‘The Art of Teaching' course held at the RNCM in Summer 2020.

Nicola Eimer

A graduate of the Juilliard School, the British pianist Nicola Eimer has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and America. She has won prizes at competitions including Dudley, John Lill and the Royal Overseas League, and was also a featured performer on the Tillett Trust Young Artists Platform. Nicola has given concerto performances and recitals at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St John, Smith Square, the Barbican and the Wigmore Hall, and has featured as a chamber musician in concerts for both the Kirckman Concert Society and the Park Lane Group. She plays regularly for the London Chopin Society. As a chamber musician, Nicola performed with the Eimer Piano Trio for over ten years, and now regularly performs with other musicians such as Richard Harwood, Ariel Horowitz, Fenella Humphreys, Christoph Richter and Maria Wloszczowska She is a regular class pianist for the IMS masterclasses in Prussia Cove, and has also been invited to take part in their Open Chamber Music sessions. Beginning her studies in London with Danielle Salamon, Nicola went onto the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton. She received generous support during her studies from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust and the Delphine de Martelly Trust, as well as winning a Fulbright Scholarship to study in New York with Joseph Kalichstein. Nicola is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, and she teaches piano and chamber music at both the Junior and Senior Departments. She also is the piano tutor on the Academy's LRAM course.

Victor Lim

Victor is a founding member of the Louko Piano Trio who were the winners of the Hirsch, Nossek and Christopher Rowland Ensemble of the Year Prizes at the RNCM as well as the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Chamber Music Competition in London. He also regularly performs with pianist Ryan Drucker with whom he won the RNCM Piano Duo Prize. South Korean pianist Victor Lim is an active soloist, chamber musician and song accompanist. As a dedicated teacher, Victor ran the classical music course at the Millfield Summer School for several years and is a Leverhulme Fellow of Pro Corda, the largest chamber music education organisation in the UK Victor heads the Asia continent, giving insight to trends from Asia. He is also a resident tutor at IYMA, providing his experience in training the young artists.
