Tom advises a range of clients on a day to day basis. In the Primary Healthcare field, he specialises in providing surgery valuations for both partnership and lending purposes as well carrying out Notional Rent Appeals, where he has successfully negotiated with the District Valuer to achieve higher notional rental values for clients on a national basis. He is also advising a number of clients in relation to their rent reviews with their landlord, liaising with NHSE on their behalf. Tom advises on rent reviews on both a healthcare and commercial basis and has developed a particular specialism in pharmacy rental valuations as well as Third Party Determinations and Expert Witness work. He also advises on the disposal of property for clients in both the healthcare and commercial property sectors. Tom is currently advising Local Medical Committees on how NHS changes will affect practices occupying NHS owned premises. He is also an active member of the Primary Care Property Forum. Tom is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a RICS Registered Valuer and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).
