Alex joined the firm in October 2019 having decided to follow a career in accountancy after studying languages at university. She is now enrolled in AAT evening classes while primarily preparing year end accounts during the day and hopes to continue her journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant. Outside of work, Alex enjoys short city breaks, sewing and continuing to learn new languages.
Senior Accountant and Auditor Anthony joined the team back in 2010. He has over 30 years of accountancy experience and is one of our key advisors for all aspects of small and medium sized businesses. Currently Anthony primarily undertakes all our company and charity audit requirements as well as having a hand in year-end account matters.
One of the newer members of our Harwood & Co team, Carl has trained and qualified with us becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant during 2019. When he's not keeping fit or playing football Carl is busy working as one of our year end accounts gurus.
With over 30 years in the accountancy sector as well as the experience of her own firm, Dawn understands the responsibilities that go hand-in-hand with running a business. Dawn operates the Harwood & Co payroll bureau which manages all our client payroll requirements. Aside to this Dawn is also a Xero and Quickbooks Online advisor - and our resident go-to for all booking and VAT matters!
Having joined Harwood & Co straight from school in 2007 Edd went on to complete and qualify for his Chartered Certificate in 2013. These days his primary role is as part of our valuable year-end accounts team. Outside of work Edd has a passion for football and motorsport and takes the time to volunteer at weekends with the local Dogs Trust.
Louise is one of the newer members of the Harwood & Co team and is highly experienced in the areas of accounting, membership management and administration. Louise's key responsibilities are working on our bookkeeping and VAT return client requirements. Away from work Louise likes to take the time to travel or enjoy a good book.

Mark has been with the company since 2003 and is a key figure in turning the business into what it is today thanks to his client focus and forward thinking. When not leading the direction of the business Mark specialises in providing hands-on support to clients with taxation and accountancy for owner managed businesses in particular.
Mike founded the business in 1993. Cut to 26 years later and Harwood & Co. is now one of the most respected businesses in the region. Mike is responsible for establishing the extensive, loyal client base the business has built its reputation on. Mike is also a driving force in the Warwickshire community, acting as a Trustee and support advisor for many not-for-profit organisations. In 2016 he was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for his dedicated services to the Warwickshire community.
Siew works primarily on our personal tax returns and year-end accounts requirements. Siew joined the Harwood & Co team back in 2008 and went on to complete her Association of Accounting Technicians studies with us, qualifying in 2016. Siew likes to cook, travel and take on a little retail therapy in her spare time.
Steven joined the team in 2019 and brings a wide range of experience to an owner managed client base within the Midlands.
Steven has worked in industry as a finance director and has carried out a variety of other specialist roles and services, including corporate finance, valuations, forensic and due diligence reports, business start-ups and planning, MBOs and business sales.
He is currently a director and trustee of the Leicester Riders Foundation and the Leicester Community Sports Arena.
Terry has been a valuable addition to the team following her transfer as part of the Sansom & Co acquisition. Terry has been involved in all aspects of accountancy services over the years and is one of our most experienced advisors. She has a love of the outdoors when she is not thinking about client year end and personal tax returns!
