Dawn has over 20 years' experience of monitoring and managing business support and office functions, including the human resources and payroll requirements of both large and smaller companies. She is an experienced Practice Manager with skills in financial management, project and office management. Dawn also acts as Personal Assistant to the Board of Directors, and is an invaluable member of the team, known affectionately as ‘Mary Poppins', because she is "practically perfect in every way". Dawn makes it her daily mission to take away the stresses and strains in the team, supporting them, the wider business and its clients. Put simply, Solomons Europe could not function without her. Dawn's capacity to predict just exactly what the team need before they even ask is a constant reminder of her true commitment and passion for the company. On top of all that, she is a super caring and considerate person and, as a result, the whole team loves her to bits.

Dawn Powell leads the way in rigorously upholding the company in its commitment to developing the best talent within our teams - and in helping the business to ensure that individuals within the Solomons Europe family are able to grow and develop within the company to achieve their full potential. She is fiercely focused on this mission, and acts as guardian of our ‘onboarding' and career development processes - ensuring the individual and the company understand and are committed to growing and nurturing talent and developing people to high levels of technical competence. Dawn always seems to have that extra bit of energy when others start flagging with a limitless supply of optimism and determination. She never accepts defeat and always powers on through to acheive her goal. Dawn is exceptional in finding and securing the best talent, to further grow our high performing teams, but is equally focused on nurturing the valuable talent we have and helping them to become the very best they can be.

Victoria is also part of Solomons Europe's People & Performance Team, championing staff development and providing targeted recruitment support to our regional teams. Having previously worked with well-known global brands, such as Barclays and Thomas Cook, managing diverse and rapid staff recruitment and resourcing demands, Victoria has been able to bring new skills and experiences to Solomons - giving us insights into the power of social media in helping to showcase our cultural approach. She works with each region to imaginatively to convey our different approaches to people and our 'small giants', family business ethos. With a true passion for staff wellbeing and a drive to see individuals fulfill their true potential whatever their background, and with a fiercely supportive attitude, Victoria is also active in working with teams to support resilience and work life balance aspects.
