BIO
Rod, a founding member of the company, already had a passionate involvement in stationary engines, steam traction engines, classic commercials, and agricultural machinery. He is a qualified engineer and his long-established love of veteran and vintage cars led to the formation of Henal Engineering in 2005.
After more than 15 years Rod still uses his skills to maintain and rebuild these early pioneering vehicles with Autohistoric Veteran & Vintage.
Rod is a natural when it comes to preserving original components, restoring well-worn assemblies, and manufacturing intricate parts. He is a highly accomplished fabricator and machinist and has an unrivalled knowledge of cars of the veteran era.
He is also a master when it comes to skilfully driving anything you put in front of him!
