Emma joined Forest Vets in 2019 as a receptionist but is now enjoying her role as a student veterinary nurse She loves all aspects of animals including small and large animal care. During her spare time she is very busy running the farm with her partner , riding her horse and exercising her dogs.

Fiona graduated with a BSc degree in veterinary nursing in 2017. She worked in an out of hours hospital before starting at Forest veterinary group in 2019 as a locum. She has been a permanent member of staff ever since. Outside of work she enjoys art, music, and baking.

Katy worked as a care assistant in an animal rescue centre for 4 years, and was keen to get into the medical side of animal care. She joined a practice in Swansea as an auxiliary nurse, where she decided to apply to university to study a degree in veterinary nursing. She chose Forest Vets to complete her first year placement and is now coming back for her second year. Katy loves the variety of tasks the job brings,and learning new things from the more experienced nurses and vets.

Kayleigh Howells

Kayleigh joined the practice in 2013 as a student veterinary nurse and is now one of our Head nurses. Kayleigh enjoys all aspects of her role, particularly caring for patients in theatre. Kayleigh is also our clinical coach for our students. Out of work Kayleigh enjoys going to concerts and spending time with family and friends and in particular her pet rabbit Sir Bugsy.

Meet Kim who is part of our nursing team here at Forest Vets. Kim changed careers in 2021 and has loved every minute of it. She is currently a nursing assistant but has goals to become a veterinary nurse soon. Kim spends a lot of her free time with loved ones and cuddling with her staff cross Cheeko.

Natasha started off as a receptionist at Forest Vets and transitioned into an Animal Nursing Assistant after 1 year. She then went on to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in February 2022. Tasha has an interest in nursing exotic species, specifically rabbits. She shares her home with 2 indoor rabbits, 2 rats and a west highland white terrier.

Nestor Moreno

Nestor graduated in Veterinary in Zaragoza 2004. He has worked in small animal practice since graduating, combined with laboratory research, working in veterinary editorials and farm animals. Nestor has a special interest in surgery and oncology and has been a lover of all animals since a child and is passionate in observing and photographing wildlife. Nestor spends his free time with his wife and young family.

I am originally from South Africa, 8 years ago I moved over to the UK with my partner and 4 animals. I have been in practice now since 2016. I am a qualified Veterinary nurse assistant and a have been a qualified RVN since 2021. My favourite part of nursing is comforting and recovering patients from an anaesthetic as well as nursing neonates.

Rhian Jones

This is Rhi n. She started in forest vets in 2014 as a student veterinary nurse to complete her training. 8 years on and she is still a part of the team. She has a recently joined our management team as a head nurse as well as being is heavily involved with our student training as a clinical coach. She genuinely enjoys every aspect of her nursing role but particularly enjoys radiography and theatre roles. She has come from a sporting background previously owning horses and competed at a low level British eventing as well as competing at a high level in karate being a part of the Welsh team.

Rosie joined the practice in January 2022 working as a veterinary care assistant and is currently working towards a diploma in this. Rosie has a degree in animal behaviour and welfare. She previously worked in an animal rescue and ran her own dog walking/ pet sitting business. Rosie is currently learning Chinese, and enjoys travelling especially when she can volunteer on animal conservation projects at the same time.

Sarah Griffiths

Sarah qualified as a nurse in 2013 and has worked in small animal practice ever since. She completed an additional certificate in wound management in 2018, and another in surgical nursing in 2021. Sarah is one of our Head nurses. She has a rescue dachshund, and a retired horse.

Sarah began working for Forest Vets in early 2014 and has worked in Veterinary for almost 10 years. Sarah became part time after welcoming her son in 2020, and now works two days a week. Sarah's favourite part of the role is doing nurse consultations, and she is also our practices ‘Pet Diabetes Advisor'. Sarah has a total soft spot for any kind of small Terrier breed, and owns a Bedlington Terrier called Herbie.

Tim Ingham

Tim has over 20 years of experience as a vet, having qualified from the University of Bristol in 2000, and completed a previous degree in Physiology at the University of London. After an initial few years in mixed practice, Tim worked in a busy emergency hospital for several years before settling into general practice in 2014. He was awarded a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (in Emergency Medicine) in 2016. Tim enjoys all aspects of veterinary work, particularly small animal surgery. Outside of work Tim enjoys a busy life with his family of three children, wife, dog, three cats and leopard gecko. He's also learning Spanish and piano, albeit very slowly!
