Alex Lugt - Managing Director
Alex joined Correlation soon after its formation and became Managing Director in 2015. He has worked across multiple personal lines insurance partnerships since 2004. He is a qualified chartered accountant, an enthusiastic triathlete and a keen chess player.

Cath deals with accounts, assisting with management reporting, budgeting and the administration of investments, as well as the day-to-day running of the office. She has a degree in Comparative Literature and is finishing off her AAT qualification, with aspirations to undertake CIMA. Cath's background is in events management. She's a pop culture fan and loves walking and cooking.
Chris oversees the non-life pricing function across multiple partners. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, with extensive experience in personal lines pricing across the UK & South Africa. He is a keen yogi and wanderlust at heart; having visited 54 countries so far.
Deborah is responsible for producing management reports, budgets, forecasting and support to a number of partnerships. Previous experience covers management and financial reporting, commercial planning analysis and systems development in a number of different industries.
Ed graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc in Economics. He has a passion for data analysis and supports our partners on various strategic projects using his skills in analytics. Ed is a film enthusiast and loves skiing and DJing in his spare time.

Georgia has extensive experience with coordination and facilitation of staff initiatives, setting-up offices across Europe and large-scale event management. At CRP, she is responsible for staff wellness and engagement, event management, management of the London office, and assisting with projects and initiatives. In her spare time, she volunteers for several charities, is a big movie buff and is extremely passionate about animals.
Graeme has an Honours degree in Finance and joined the company in 2013. He oversees the equity investments and underwriting activities of six insurance partnerships by providing management and strategic support, underwriting and regulatory acumen, new product development, risk management, and financial modelling. He is a passionate cyclist and Ironman triathlete, and loves to travel.

Grant supports the new business function as well as the existing portfolio's development initiatives. He is a Chartered Accountant, and has a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town. Grant is a keen golfer, enjoys running, and is an avid follower of football in the UK.
Harry graduated from Manchester University with a Master's degree in Physics and has recently completed a machine learning project in collaboration with CERN. Harry is a keen guitar player and enjoys scuba diving as well as travelling.
Henri oversees Correlation's pet insurance partnerships, being responsible for relationship management, financial reporting, shareholder matters, strategic advice and underwriting oversight. He holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified actuary . He is a sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying rugby, golf, cricket and boxing.
Ian joined to assist Correlations' partners in driving Digital and IT Transformation. This includes introducing advanced cloud, AI and data management strategies. His qualifications include an MBA, Bsc Comp Sci as well as numerous industry certifications. He is passionate about technology and the intelligent use of data. Ian is an avid swimmer, fitness enthusiast and a qualified dive master.
Jaco is one of the founding members of Correlation Group. He is mainly responsible for balance sheet management and shareholder representation. A graduate from the University of Stellenbosch and University of Cape Town, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989. He has been involved in the insurance industry since 1992.
James deals with accounts, assists with management reporting, budgeting and the administration of investments. He completed his Accounting and Finance degree in 2018, with aspirations to complete his CIMA qualification. James' career started in the Cycle Industry as a Bike Fit and Performance consultant for luxury bicycle brands, before transitioning into Accounting and Finance. In his spare time, he is often found cycling on and off road and also practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.

James has spent 17+ years in financial services in London, Hong Kong and Sydney in banking, asset management and insurance across trading, treasury, liquidity management, sales & RM, risk management and business development. James joined Correlation in 2021 and works across partnerships and investments. He has an economics degree and is a CFA charter holder. James is a keen kayaker.
Jas manages the Insolvency Products division of Correlation Risk Partners. She has an Honours degree in Law and experience in Corporate Banking and Insurance. She regularly takes part in events for a number of charitable organisations, and enjoys travelling, musicals and keeping fit.
John is a qualified actuary. He holds an MBA with Honors from University of Chicago Booth Business School and Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London. He specialises in Solvency risk management framework and has extensive capital experiences across Non-Life and Life insurances. He's a keen cyclist and skier.

- Accountant in a Subsidiary of CIL
Kirsty initially joined our group as an accountant in a subsidiary of CIL and was responsible for management accounts, cash flows, payroll, commission runs, claims payments and credit control. She joined CRP in 2016 and is responsible for the accounting and support of our various group holding companies. In her spare time Kirsty is an avid gym goer , enjoys running and holidays with her family.

Martin is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and is passionate about driving better business decision making through the use of data. In his time off he enjoys a game of golf and travelling around as much as possible.
Michael joined Correlation Risk Partners in 2007 and is responsible for the strategic assessment, development and management of the group's equity insurance investments, with a focus on the life and health insurance division. He is a Fellow of the UK's Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge's Judge Business School. He's a keen triathlete and water polo player.
Natasha assists with Compliance and KYC requirements within the group, as well as other finance projects. She is a graduate and member of the ICSA (The Governance Institute) in the UK, and has previously worked as an Accountant and Finance Manager. She enjoys running, reading and travelling.
Nicky manages the new business function at Correlation. She has a Masters in Financial Economics from Oxford University, and has passed the Chartered Financial Analyst exams. Nicky is a foodie, she enjoys jogging, and loves to travel in her spare time.
Niki is responsible for personal development, manages customer complaints and is passionate about behavioural science in business. She has an Honours degree in Psychology and 9 years experience in the UK insurance industry. She is a big animal lover, enjoys water sports and a good book.
Raj has more than 15 years experience in technology, software and data warehousing and has a degree in Engineering. He is responsible for day-to-day IT activities, as well data mining, database management and building software applications for CRP and partners. This includes processing and reporting of Solvency II Data.

Sam assists in the partnership business, together with working on corporate finance and the asset management functions of a number of the insurance partners. Sam has a Master's Degree in Finance from the Leeds Business School and has a strong interest in financial markets. In his spare time Sam is an accomplished rugby player.

Sean has a broad base of commercial experience gained through 20 years of working across financial services. He provides strategic support, management acumen and underwriting expertise to a number of our partnerships. Sean holds a Masters in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa. He is a keen triathlete and a coffee addict.

Sean oversees our partnerships with the Granite Group & Frontier. He also has wider involvement in business development, corporate finance and the asset management function for a number of insurance partners. Sean has a Honours degree in finance, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is also a founding trustee of the Bokomoso Education Trust in South Africa and the UK.
