Andrew has worked in the education and the corporate sector, with over ten years' experience in the leisure and services industry. His key focus was to provide excellent service to his clients and look after them ensuring that the service and products they had requested were delivered to them at the highest possible standards; he won national awards for his service in previous roles.
At the Assessment Box Andrew is responsible for designing the right package for your assessment needs and ensuring that it is delivered to the highest possible standards. Andrew excels in client service and will always go above and beyond to ensure that schools and academies are happy.
As a practising teacher of English, part time at a local college, he understands the education sector and the pressures and requirements that those that work in education face on a day-to-day basis. He has also worked successfully on a traineeship scheme in partnership with Derby County Football Club and Toyota, helping many learners in his local community progress with their English and Maths.
He loves the outdoors, cycling or long walks with his three dogs in the Derbyshire countryside and visiting heritage sites in the UK. He has a degree in History & Archaeology from the University of Leicester, has a keen passion for travel, recently visiting the Egyptian Pyramids, the Mayan ruins in Mexico and taking part in an around the world tour in 40 days, taking in Canada, Austalia and Asia.
Andrew Benjamin joins CTC Training & Consultancy Ltd as Director of Sales & Commissioning helping to grow the business.

Fiona enjoyed a career of 37 years in the Civil Service working with the public and helping engage and support many hard-to-reach groups. After this she went on to work in the field of Further Education, support many of those who have faced significant barriers to accessing education.
Fiona is an expert in the field of employment practices and is passionate about finding the right talent to help the business grow and supporting the learners we work with. In her spare time Fiona is a passionate follower and player of tennis.
Fiona Jeffreys joins CTC as Director of Finance & Resources as the organisations grows in strength.

Helen Mackenzie's career in education started 35 years ago as an English teacher in Bury and has included headships of schools in Liverpool, Wigan and Salford.
Helen believes in ensuring that there is maximum impact on pupil progress and achievement through high quality teaching and learning, staff training and help & wellbeing services. As a result of leading systems that ensure both academic and pastoral intervention, combined with nurture, Helen led the first senior nurture school in the country and was awarded the OBE in 2010.
Helen is now a Leadership Consultant and Coach working with leaders in challenging schools in the North West and Yorkshire. She has been a coach and facilitator for Ambition School Leadership, worked extensively as a Systems Leader in both the primary and secondary sector.
Her understanding, application and review of school led systems, combined with a real care for staff wellbeing is renowned. Helen is a graduate in English from both Lancaster and Manchester Universities. She is very family orientated and also loves the theatre, cinema and all things historical.

Steve is an experienced teacher, Senior Examiner, trainer & consultant; he has served as a Head of Faculty twice, the first being in the largest ‘fresh start' school in the country, and as a Head of Year.
He has held all of these posts in large, urban comprehensive schools in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Leicester and London. Steve has vast experience of working with teachers and students as a teacher, as an LEA Adviser and more recently as an Improvement Director for a large, nationwide Academy Chain.
Recently, he has worked as an Education Adviser on several International projects. He is the co-author of the West African Literature Study Guides series, funded by The Ford Foundation, and has delivered CPD for teachers and students across West Africa in support of an educational charity.
Steve continues to work in schools on a daily basis. He is the founding Director of CTC Training & Consultancy and is a graduate of The University of Birmingham.
Steve Newlands becomes Head of Faculty in the largest ‘fresh start' school in England & Wales.
Working in a school in very challenging circumstances, Steve observes that the organisation is subject to lots of advisory visits but very little practical support. This develops his thinking about the services schools, and, more importantly, students really need to help them succeed.

Vincenzo has been a teacher of French, Italian and Spanish for the past ten years. Throughout his career, he has mentored ITT students and NQTS and has held responsibility as Second in Languages in his last post. Vincenzo has been an examiner for Italian GCSE and A-Level for a major examination board and has worked as language consultant on several projects for Harper Collins Publishers.
Vincenzo is an outstanding classroom practitioner and his main strength is that, as a linguist, he knows where students struggle and is able to provide the necessary support and skills to help pupils develop self-confidence and resilience.
Vincenzo has also worked on the production and marking of French and Spanish GCSE-style exam papers, as well as Key Stage 3 assessments, for our client schools, and his reports on how to improve teaching practice and exam preparation have been highly commended.

Yvonne has been a teacher of English at both GCSE and ‘A' Level for over 35 years, including time as a Head of English working in England & in International Schools.
She has been an Examiner for GCSE English Language & Literature for over 20 years and was a Senior Examiner for 15 years.
Recently, Yvonne has been the Assistant Principal Examiner for GCSE English Literature for a major examination board in the UK. She has appeared at Poetry Live ©Conferences and has presented many sessions for students and teachers. In addition to this, Yvonne has co-authored a series of West African Literature Study Guides and has provided CPD on their use across West Africa to students and teachers.
Yvonne Blake joins CTC Training as Director of Policy & Strategy. In addition to teaching, Yvonne brings substantial experience as an examiner having been Assistant Principal Examiner for GCSE English Literature for a major UK examination board.
