Alex is a former operator, with experience in digital marketing, gamification & innovation from his time working at Social Entertainment Ventures & Puttshack, building a number of concepts & rolling them out across the UK & into the US. Alex was an integral part of the team that launched a COVID symptom tracking app at the onset of COVID. Alex helped set up the Pre-Seed fund and closely manages the deployment of the fund. He also contributes to the Fuel LinkedIn page.
Boyd is an experienced multi-award winning fund manager, Managing Partner at Sapphire Capital Partners and Assistant Instructor at Harvard.
Christina has 12 years' experience working in C-Level offices across Australia and Europe, her focus is supporting the Investment Team with new and existing companies in our portfolios, as well as various operations across the business.

James has been raising capital for over 20 years and specifically for early tech for the last 7 years, his client base has focussed on larger Institutional Investors including VC's and Family Offices from Series A onwards. James will be focusing on helping our portfolio companies with follow-on investments from VC's and strategic investors.
James' focus at Fuel Ventures in now on fundraising and investor relations, supporting the portfolio companies with growth capital from the likes of VC's and Family Offices, and earlier-stage funding from UHNW and Angels. Prior to joining Fuel, James spent two years developing a Prop-tech startup, doing so between London and Vancouver. This was after gaining a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Leeds.
Jing has extensive experience working with international investors and key Asian markets. Jing manages relationships with Chinese investors and Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa clients.
Joanna is part of the pre-seed investment team at Fuel. Prior to this, she worked at PwC and early stage startups and most recently she was leading equity crowdfunding campaigns at Crowdcube. Her focus at Fuel is sourcing new investment opportunities and in-depth analysis.

Katie holds a degree in International Politics and Italian from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Fuel, Katie spent time working with startups in the venture debt space. Her focus at Fuel is sourcing new investment opportunities for the fund and deal execution.
Mark is an award winning digital entrepreneur having achieved multiple successful exits over the last decade. Mark takes an active role in mentoring the Fund's portfolio of companies.
Michael has extensive experience and a prominent background in early stage technology investing, along with managing international investor relationships. Michael heads up Business Development/ Investor relations along with sourcing new investment opportunities for the fund. He also supports the portfolio companies with growth plans including follow on investment.

Mike has several year's experience as a commercial operator, as Commercial Manager at a post-trade exit F&B company, then as Head of Investment & Commercial Services at a tech venture builder. Prior to this, Mike qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC. His focus at Fuel is sourcing new investment opportunities for the fund and deal execution.
Nikita joined Fuel Ventures, after having worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Renaissance Capital, covering EMEA clients. Nikita's focus at Fuel Ventures is on investor relations and supporting the portfolio companies with growth capital.
Oli has spent several years working for startup companies and as an Analyst with an early stage venture fund and Angel investors. His focus is on sourcing new opportunities for Fuel and working with the existing portfolio.
Shiv joined Fuel in 2019 and leads investments from our Scale Up and Follow-On Funds. He works closely with our portfolio companies and sits on a number of boards, with experience covering initial investment through to exit. Prior to Fuel, Shiv cut his cloth working with a recruitment tech start-up in India before worked a number of years within Wealth Management.
Sophie studied Criminology and Sociology at Cardiff University. Her focus will be on fundraising for new investment opportunities for the fund.
Stan has 9+ years experience investing in early-stage technology companies and helping them scale to exit. He helps to find new investment opportunities for the fund and manages key relationships with investors.
Tom previously worked in Marketing and Investor Relations at a structured credit hedge fund and holds a BA in Business and Management from Oxford Brookes University. His focus is now on fundraising, investor relations and supporting the portfolio companies.
Tom worked for 4 years in B2B SaaS/fintech at both Finbourne and his own business ClaritEx. Prior to that, he spent 3 years in derivatives solutions banking. At Fuel, Tom's focus is on deal execution, mentoring early-stage portfolio companies and fundraising. Tom holds a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter and is a CFA charterholder.
