Aaron Valadez

Aaron Valadez distinguished himself at St. Mary's University School of Law where he graduated in the top 10% of his class in 2014. While attending law school as a full time student, Aaron served as Staff Writer on St. Mary's Law Review on Race & Social Justice and went on to Clerk for Chief Justice Marion of the 4th Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas, demonstrating excellent legal scholarship. Aaron also worked for two years at Tinsman & Sciano while attending St. Mary's University School of Law and gained the respect of those who worked with him. Aaron has demonstrated talent in the courtroom and is aggressively pursuing a docket that will advocate for the rights of his clients. Aaron developed his advocacy skills competing in mock trials and completing a trial advocacy program sponsored by the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. In the past two years, Aaron has earned the respect of many of those in the San Antonio community due to his willingness to actively participate wherever needed. Daniel J.T. Sciano - Chairman, VP

Daniel J.T. Sciano is Chairman of the Board, Vice President and senior attorney at the Law Offices of Tinsman & Sciano, Inc. With over 38 years of legal experience, Dan has handled a vast variety of civil and personal injury litigation matters throughout his legal career. They have included complex medical malpractice claims, motor vehicle accident claims, truck/tractor and other company motor vehicle wrecks involving serious injury or death, claims regarding unreasonably dangerous and defective products involving a vast array of commercial and industrial products, complex medical malpractice claims, and a panoply of claims brought due to catastrophic injury or death. His practice also involves civil litigation in a wide variety of areas.

Jeffrey C. Anderson

Jeffrey C. Anderson joined Tinsman & Sciano, Inc., in 2020 after 18 years as a trial lawyer and partner with the firm of Southers & Lyons, Inc., followed by 25 years as a solo practioner, where his trial practice focused on representing victims of medical malpractice by civilian and government physicians and healthcare providers. Jeff has represented clients for over 35 years in cases filed pursuant to the Federal Tort Claims Act in federal courts in Texas and other states. He has been a member of the Medical/Legal Liaison Committee since 1979, and he has served numerous times as Co-Chairman of that committee. In addition to medical cases, Mr. Anderson has represented clients in numerous personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting from defective products, vehicular accidents, and dangerous locations. He has also represented clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving aviation accidents resulting from pilot error or defective aircraft, where his experience as a commercial pilot has been important and beneficial. Mr. Anderson has also authored numerous publications for CLE programs in Texas and has frequently lectured on subjects relating to Texas personal injury law. Richard E. Tinsman

Richard Tinsman was a founder of Tinsman & Sciano, Inc. and graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1957. He practiced over 50 years. He was the ultimate "war horse" - a hard-working, hard-fighting lawyer who exhausted every avenue for his clients. A well-respected member of the San Antonio law community, Mr. Tinsman was nicknamed "Tiger" by colleagues who noted his aggressive approach to cases. Although Mr. Tinsman retired in 2016, his thorough, no-nonsense approach to cases is the guiding principle at the practice that bears his name.

Stephen F. Lazor

Stephen F. Lazor has enjoyed a distinguished forty-three year legal career, during which he has litigated cases on behalf of individuals and families who have been harmed or have lost loved ones as a result of medical negligence, industrial accidents, unsafe premises, vehicular collisions, and defective products. In addition to his earning the respect of his peers and adversaries for his proven skills as a litigator, Stephen is known for his legal scholarship. After graduating summa cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in biology, Mr. Lazor attended the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated first in his class of more than five hundred students. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters, as published in Texas Monthly, for 2010-2020. Stephen has earned the respect of the medical and legal communities as reflected by his being selected to serve as Chairman of the Medical-Legal Liaison Committee of the San Antonio Bar Association and the Bexar County Medical Society for the calendar years 1999-2000, 2004-2005, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011. Stephen handles cases in state and federal courts throughout the state of Texas.
