Ann Tran

Ann Tran is a registered physician assistant who specializes in lasers & injectables with integrative health. Mrs. Tran has over 15 years of experience in cosmetic lasers (IPL, Skin Tightening, Sublative, Resurfacing, Hair Removal, and Vein Reduction), Botox/Dysport, and filler injections (Radiesse, Restylane, Juvederm, Belotero, and Voluma). She has extensive laser training including with renowned Floridian doctors like Dr. Jason Pozner, Dr. Denise Baker, and Dr. Adam Scheiner. She is certified in advance cosmetic filler injections and Botox. April Silverberg

April Silverberg is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certified by the ANCC. Originally from St. Petersburg, FL, April began her education at Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees. April returned to the Tampa Bay area to complete her education, attending the University of South Florida where she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, graduating with honors and being recognized for her academic achievements by Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. April launched her nursing career by accepting a position at Tampa General Hospital working in the Burn ICU, Vascular ICU, and Neuro ICU. Becoming inspired by the work performed in the Burn ICU, April decided to continue her education in the specialty of dermatology.

Bill Kras

Bill Kras was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from Sisters' Hospital School of Nursing he relocated to the Tampa Bay area and attended the University of South Florida where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Nursing and his Masters of Science Degree in Family Health Nursing. Bill Kras is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who specializes in dermatology. His interests include general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Living in Florida for over twenty years, education on skin cancer prevention is the foundation for his approach to patient care. Mr. Kras worked at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute for over 10 years where under his leadership; his team was awarded and recognized nationally as Department of the Year in 2011. In addition, Mr. Kras co-authored an article published in the peer-reviewed AORN Journal in 2012 that was chosen as the AORN Journal Writers Article of the Year. Previously, Bill Kras worked at Tampa General Hospital in Cardiovascular & Transplant Surgery, honing his skills in perioperative nursing. Mr. Kras is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Dermatology Nurses Association, & Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses Council. He attends local and national meetings to stay current in his field. A highly skilled clinician, he is dedicated to providing superior patient care in a comfortable clinical setting. David B. Sable

David B. Sable, M.D., Ph.D., joined Academic Alliance in Dermatology, Inc., in February 2016. Dr. Sable is an American Board of Medical Specialties Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellowship-trained Dermatologic Surgeon specializing in Mohs Surgery for skin cancer and reconstructive surgery. In addition to an active general Dermatology practice, Dr. Sable is one of the few Fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeons in Tampa Bay specializing in Surgical Dermatology, skin cancer, and surgical reconstruction. Dr. Sable was originally a Boston native who earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Tufts University before successfully completing a Ph.D., in Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley. After completing his Ph.D., he returned to Boston to complete an M.D. at Tufts before successfully completing an Internal Medicine Internship at Brigham and Womens Hospital and a Pathology Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Sable then completed a Dermatology Residency at Wayne State University where he was ultimately named chief resident for his final year. Dr. Sable then completed a Fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Mohs Surgery at the University of Wisconsin where he had the opportunity to learn the Mohs Surgery under Dr. Stephen Snow who had been trained by Dr. Frederic Mohs. Dr. Sable prides himself in ensuring that all patients receive superior care for each and every visit. Dr. Sable lives in Tampa with his wife and enjoys all the activities that Tampa Bay has to offer.

David L. Allyn

David L. Allyn MD, MS, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and MOHS surgeon who provides care to patients of all ages at Academic Alliance in Dermatology. He is one of a few physicians who have completed an advanced fellowship in dermatologic cosmetic surgery. Such training has allowed Dr. Allyn a leadership role in numerous cosmetic, laser, general dermatology and Mohs skin cancer surgery procedures at various clinics throughout Central Florida for almost 20 years. After receiving general honors from Vassar College, Dr. Allyn completed a Master of Science in Nutrition at Tufts University School of Nutrition and then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine and dermatology residencies at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Allyn has received multiple honors and awards throughout his professional career and has not only been published in several medical publications but has also lectured at various conferences covering a wide range of topics. He has served as principle investigator in multiple research studies, which has allowed him to invent several medical devices and develop a unique nutritional plant. As an active participant in numerous medical organizations and volunteer in medical education, he has strived to educate and inspire countless colleagues and young professionals in the art and practice of medicine and nutrition and has been awarded and recognized for his philanthropic endeavors. Dr. Allyn has served a volunteer Assistant Professor at numerous renowned institutions such as the University of South Florida Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery and the University of Miami Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery. He is also clinical Preceptor for Physician Assistants at Nova Southeastern University and Doctors at Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency. With his vast training and experience, Dr. Allyn understands the challenges that come as a result of having dermatology and complex medical issues. He sincerely cares about the health and wellbeing of his patients and is committed to providing the most advanced and compassionate care possible.

Gloria P. Lopez

Gloria P. Lopez was born and raised in Colombia, South America. She graduated from High School at age of 16, and earned her degree of Physician and Surgeon in 1995 from Universidad Tecnologica de Pereira. After the mandatory 12 months of Medical Rural service, Gloria worked for 8 years at the Hospital Universitario San Jorge, as a General Practitioner in the Surgery and Emergency Room wards. In 2005, with Colombia's violence still escalating, Gloria came to the United States looking for better opportunities, greatly motivated by all her family who was already here. The same year, she completed the Board Examination of Medicine with the main purpose of starting a residency program in Internal Medicine or in Family Medicine. These plans were postponed by her marriage and the birth of her son, Nicholas. After a couple of years, with no suitable offers to a residency program, Gloria decided to return to the medical profession as a Medical Assistant in an Internal Medicine group in Tallahassee. In the next two years, Gloria worked on gaining an in-depth understanding of the Health Care System of the United States.

Kirstie Dicharry

Kirstie Dicharry is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Originally from Virginia, Kirstie first obtained her Bachelor of Science from Radford University in Graphic Design, before finding her way to her true calling in medicine. She then pursued her Registered Nursing degree from ECPI University where she graduated with honors. As a nurse, her background has included nearly a decade of experience in diverse settings such as wound care, orthopedics, medical surgical, progressive care, and home health. Continuing her education in 2018, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing with an elective focus in dermatology from Simmons University, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Kirstie is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Kirstie enjoys all areas of dermatology and is passionate about delivering the highest quality care and building lasting relationships with her patients. She is excited to serve her community through Academic Alliance in Dermatology where she can provide the latest personalized treatments and services available. When not caring for her patients, Kirstie cherishes time spent with her husband Damon, their young son Wyatt, and their two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, yoga, and exploring the great Florida outdoors- while always wearing sunscreen of course!

Mariah Ford

Mariah Ford is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Dermatology. She was born and raised in Michigan where she attended Eastern Michigan University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science. Subsequently, Mariah completed her Physician Assistant schooling and training in Florida at Gannon University where she graduated with her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Matthew Zook

Matthew Zook, MD, PhD, graduated from Jefferson Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University College of Graduate Studies in 2005. He completed his dermatology training at Jefferson Dermatology Associates in 2009. He joined the staff of Fox Chase Cancer Center as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Temple University. At Fox Chase Cancer Center, Dr. Zook was the Director of the Melanoma Risk Assessment Program where he screened and counseled patients at high risk for the development of skin cancer. Dr. Zook has participated in research projects focusing on medical imaging and has been an investigator on several clinical trials dealing with the treatment of skin cancers. He has authored book chapters dealing with systemic cancers that can present in the skin and the consequences of artificial tanning, and has also been an article reviewer for Dermatology journals. Dr. Zook is active in local dermatology societies, a member of the Society for Investigative Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an active MOHS surgeon.

Ms. Heather Scull

Ms. Heather Scull attended Colgate University in Hamilton, NY where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Pre-Med Studies. She subsequently attended Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH where she received a Master of Science in Evaluative Clinical Sciences at The Dartmouth Institute of Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Ms. Scull is a graduate from the physician assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC where she received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She also has extensive experience in clinical research with participation in numerous research studies and various publications. Ms. Scull's areas of interest include Medical, Pediatric, Surgical and Aesthetic Dermatology. She thoroughly enjoys seeing patients of all ages and loves all aspects of dermatology. Within Aesthetic dermatology, Ms. Scull specializes in Botox/Dysport, chemical peels, all dermal fillers (e.g., Sculptra, Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Refyne, Radiesse, Belotero). Ms. Scull also has experience in cosmetic lasers (e.g., IPL, Ematrix Sublative, Nd:YAG for skin tightening, resurfacing, rejuvenation, rosacea, facial/leg veins, sun spots, scar reduction). She treats patients with ‘double chins' (submental fat) using Kybella, the only FDA-approved injectable to destroy fat cells under the chin! She also performs Microneedling/PRP treatments and sclerotherapy.
