ABRAMCZYK CONSULTING SERVICES - Key Persons

Mary-Ann Abramczyk, MSN, RN, LNCP-C has been a Registered Nurse since 2000. She is the President of Abramczyk Consulting Services, LLC. She has nursing experience in Trauma, Emergency Nursing, Medical Surgical, Organ Transplant, Nursing Education and the Electronic Medical Record. She worked for the Trauma Service at a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center for seven years. While in that department, she gained knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding injuries and CPT codes for procedures. This information was used in a Trauma Registry database and was sent to State and National Trauma databases. She was a first responder for the Trauma Team to the emergency room Trauma bay. She was a Certified Specialists in Trauma Registry from 2005-2014. Since 2009, she has worked in the Information Technology Service department of a major Connecticut Health Care System on two different Electronic Medical Records, Sunrise Clinical Manager and Epic Care both Ambulatory and In Patient. She has held a position as a Nurse Systems Analyst. She currently works with Doctors, APRNs and PAs, training them on how to use the EMR. Mary-Ann has worked on the Board of Directors of Connecticut Chapter of American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. She held positions of Treasurer, Education Chair, and Past Chapter President. She earned her Master's Degree from the University of Hartford's College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions in Nursing Education. She earned her Post Master's Certificate from Walden University's School of Nursing in Nursing Informatics.
