She graduated with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. For the past 3 years, she has developed a passion for research on diversity efforts within the Hospitality industry and Higher Education. Studying and conducting research at a university filled with many cultural backgrounds, she has been able to collaborate with others from different walks of life. She has been nominated and presented at multiple academic conferences throughout the years. With her joy of traveling, Abigail loves to explore and understand different cultures. Deloria "Dee" Nelson Streete is the Founder and CEO of Authentic Culture and Engagement (ACE) Solutions, Inc. Dee was recently the Managing Director of Diversity & Inclusion for Charles Schwab & Company where she led the national diversity & inclusion efforts for the firm. Deloria is a published author and amazing speaker who has worked professionally in Human Resources for more than 25 years with various Fortune 500 companies (e.g., Walt Disney World). Deloria specializes in DEI Assessments, Leadership Training, Coaching, Employee Relations, and Inclusion. In addition, she is a participating member on the board of three non-profit organizations: Autism Shifts Caregivers Helping Hand GROW Non-Profit Services Corporation Deloria has a B.A degree in Mass Communications and an MPA with a concentration in Human Resources from Clark Atlanta University. Dr. Sheryl Felecia Means holds a BA in English Literature from Spelman College and earned her Ph.D. in Education Sciences, Philosophical and Cultural Inquiry from the University of Kentucky in May 2018. Her doctoral research focused on Black racial identity formation at Steve Biko Cultural Institute in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Currently, Means is a postdoctoral fellow in Africana Studies at University of New Mexico. Means' research interests include Afro-Latin America, racial identity formation, and comparative education studies. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is originally from Newark, New Jersey.

Michele has worked in the Human Capital field in various capacities for over 30 years. She is a seasoned HR Business Partner with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. She loves working with businesses and employees at all levels to develop an effective and sustainable Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy. Michele possesses a deep passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as a rich appreciation for how DEI can elevate any organization to the next level. The vast majority of her experience has been spent working at the Internal Revenue Service with executive and top-level managers to assess the environment, culture, and climate to build and implement strategies that enhance diversity at all levels. As a subject matter expert, she has developed curriculum and trained executives, managers, and employees on the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in individual and group settings. Michele is recognized as a forward thinker and proactive problem solver. Minnie Holguin

With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Minnie has learned trust, credibility, and mutual respect are critical to being an HR partner. She obtained a BBA in HR Management from St. Mary's University and holds a Senior Certification through SHRM. Minnie has created and evolved the HR function for nonprofit and private organizations, including Alliance Bernstein, Charles Schwab, Texas Workforce Commission, and the City of El Paso Police Department. Minnie describes herself as an engaged workaholic that appreciates work-life blend. In addition to being VP of Programs for El Paso SHRM, she also serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board, the El Paso Police Department's Discipline Board, and Police Academy Advisory Board. While she stays busy, the most significant role is being a mom to her two kiddos. Building the City's first Police HR Division from the ground up, she supported over 1200 employees, was a member of the executive staff, and led a department of 24 civilian and sworn personnel through subordinate managers for ten years. As the HR Director, she oversaw union contract administration, payroll, risk management, compliance, employee relations, recruiting, organizational and employee development, background investigations, and pre-employment polygraph examinations in a highly litigious, fast-paced, and critical environment. Veronica Jackson

Veronica Jackson is a seasoned leader, coach and consultant with commitment and experience in the education sector. From teaching students to becoming the Principal at Florida Virtual School, she has a love for educating others through practical experiences. She additionally served as a cultural representative for organizations and partnered with Student Support Services to foster and instruct educational opportunities to students during multi-cultural events. She recently received her Associate Diversity Coach certification through Coach Diversity Institute. She led and designed the implementation of the Customer Retention Center and worked as a Quality Assurance Manager within the Curriculum Department assisting with the processes to ensure quality in the development and maintenance of the academic content. Transitioning to Area Superintendent, she participated in the school's overall planning the Instructional Team's and Processes. This included the hiring, professional development, and more. Veronica also established the school's first diversity program focused on broadening student's exposure to multiculturalism. With a sense of humor and a smile, she is always excited at the opportunity to collaborate with other teams. Whether in class, as a principal, a dean, or an Area Superintendent, she works with one motto: Students First. She believes that, by keeping students at the center of every decision, learning should be both exciting and meaningful. She thrives in learning and living in new cultures. She comes from a diverse family background and has traveled the world extensively as a child and a young adult.
