WHAT GRADES DO YOU OFFER? We serve kindergarten through eighth grade and plan to add on high school in the future. If you have a high school child that has experience as an independent learner and would like to join a small cohort of peers, we will consider admission for the 2022-23 year... IS ACTON ACADEMY A MONTESSORI SCHOOL? We respect and incorporate Maria Montessori's philosophy but, we are not a Montessori school. We also use the latest interactive technologies, hands on projects and the Socratic Method for discussions... We believe in learning by doing, including hands on projects in science, art, design and technology. Quests immerse learners in launching start-up businesses, playing an instrument, programming a robot, experiencing an apprenticeship in the community, and much more.
