Donata Vaiciunaite

Dr. Vaiciunaite is a board-certified surgeon who is native to Fort Myers, Florida. She graduated from Fort Myers High school with honors and completed a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences at University of South Florida with magna cum laude. She received her medical degree from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina and went on to complete her general surgery internship and residency at Western Reserve Hospital in Ohio. Dr. Vaiciunaite has gained additional training with a minimally invasive foregut fellowship through Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. She has a special interest in reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus, hiatal hernia, esophageal and gastric motility disorders, along with gallbladder disease, diverticular disease, and inguinal hernias. She has fellowship training in minimally invasive esophageal, gastric surgery and advanced endoscopy. Dr. Vaiciunaite is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract. She has received the Outstanding Graduate Medical Education Trainee Physician Award. She enjoys spending time with her family and is excited to contribute to the health of her community.

Dr. Kendrick McArthur

Dr. Kendrick McArthur is a board certified osteopathic surgeon. He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic in Davie, Florida in 1998. Dr. McArthur went on to complete his internship at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Osteopathic Medical Center in Pontiac. In 2004, he completed his general surgery residency at The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. McArthur served as a clinical instructor of surgery at Nova Southeastern University, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine while maintaining a private practice. Dr. McArthur is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association.

Thomas Kowalsky

Dr. Kowalsky was born in Pennsylvania. He attended Washington and Jefferson College where he graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry. He briefly attended the University of Pittsburgh graduate school for chemical engineering before deciding to attend medical school at Temple University. It was there in 1980 that he graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Kowalsky then completed an internship at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, followed by a general surgery residency from 1981-1985. From 1985-1986 Dr. Kowalsky carried out a vascular fellowship at the Hope Heart Institute in Seattle, Washington. Since 1986 he has been a part of Associates in General and Vascular Surgery in Ft. Myers. He is a member of several societies including: Lee County Medical Society, Florida Vascular Society, Florida Medical Society, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and the Society of Vascular Surgery. He has also served on several of these boards and as President of the Medical Staff at Lee Memorial Hospital and Chief of Staff. Dr. Kowalsky enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
