Chris Toh has over 25 years experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, business intelligence and data analytics. Most recently Chris held a variety of positions in the Business Intelligence/Data Analytics group at HomeAway from pre-IPO through to their acquisition by Expedia. Prior to HomeAway, he was a partner at F2 Capital where he was responsible for private investment modeling & strategy for high net worth clients. He has als o held finance positions at EZCorp, Inc. & Whole Foods Market where he was actively involved in M&A.
Chris has BSc in Electrical Engineering with Honors from the University of Southampton, an MBA from the University of Calgary and is also a CFA charterholder.
Chris Urbina has over fifteen years of real estate and oil and gas investing experience. Mr. Urbina is responsible for a variety of duties in Align's acquisition, underwriting and asset management operations.
Prior to joining Align, Mr. Urbina was an Associate at Cielo Private Equity where he performed various back office tasks, supported the front office and investor relations, and managed a team of interns. Prior to joining Cielo Private Equity, Mr. Urbina was the Senior Analyst and founder member of ForeVista, LLC, a real estate and oil and gas consulting firm, which provided asset acquisition, development and management, exit strategies, investor reporting, and consulting services to various entities, including Fortune 500 companies and municipalities. While at ForeVista, Mr. Urbina helped place and manage over $150 million of assets, ranging from energy infrastructure, national restaurant concepts, real estate development portfolios, and brownfield development companies. Before joining ForeVista Mr. Urbina was a Geologist at Intera, Inc.
Mr. Urbina holds a BS from the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin.
Elana Felty has ten years of private equity and hedge fund experience. Mrs. Felty is responsible for a variety of duties in Align's operations, investor relations and asset management operations.
Lisa Harris is the founder and a managing partner of Align Capital, LLC a private equity firm in Austin, Texas. Ms. Harris is a major investor and involved in all aspects of Align Capital, LLC, including investment opportunities, acquisitions, portfolio oversight, and overall firm management. She has over 35 years of experience in banking, family office investments, real estate, and private equity.
Ms. Harris manages the family office investment portfolio of ARH Family Partnership, which holds commercial real estate, early-stage capital in young companies, and numerous other investments in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
Ms. Harris currently serves on multiple corporate boards, including as the Chairman of Americas Technology Acquisition Corp [NYSE ATA.U] which operates as a blank check company and aims to acquire one or more businesses and assets, via a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, and reorganization.
She began her career with American National Bank in 1982 which later became Bank One in the Corporate Banking Division, in which she spent nearly two decades managing a team of commercial lenders that provided an array of products and services to a large portfolio of middle market companies. Her division provided various forms of credit, including rolling stock, inventory, real estate financing, working capital lines of credit, private equity structures and management buyouts, among others. Her division also provided off balance sheet financing, asset-based credit products, as well as complex treasury management services and investment products.
As an ambassador to A Glimmer of Hope she is very passionate about her work in Ethiopia to provide clean water, education, health care and microfinance loans which support resilient communities and empower women and girls.
Ms. Harris also serves on the Advisory Council for The Elders, a group of independent global leaders, brought together by Nelson Mandela, who offer their collective influence and experience to support peace building, help address major causes of human suffering and promote the shared interests of humanity.
Ross Brown has over fifteen years of real estate, venture, and oil and gas principal investment experience with both regional and national firms. Mr. Brown oversees the underwriting, acquisition and asset management functions of Align.
Prior to Align, Mr. Brown was the Vice President of Cielo Private Equity with responsibilities across acquisition, asset management and divestment activities. Mr. Brown served as an Associate and founding member at Dallas based CoastOak Group participated in the structuring, underwriting and management of over $250 million of real estate assets in various markets across the United States. Prior to CoastOak, Mr. Brown was with SunCal Companies, one of the largest, privately owned, residential developers in the nation. Before joining SunCal, Mr. Brown was an Analyst with Buffington Capital Holdings in Austin, TX.
