The Americas Health Foundation (AHF) is an independent 501( c) non-profit organization based in Washington DC. We focus on evidence-based initiatives designed to address barriers to healthcare access by integrating multi-stakeholder perspectives and recommendations. Our efforts include generating local and regional evidence to guide health policy decisions, raising awareness of unmet patient needs, promoting meaningful stakeholder engagement and catalyzing action to increase access to effective healthcare... Through multi-stakeholder collaboration and evidence-based work, we aim to strengthen diagnostic capabilities across Latin America, improving early detection and disease management... We work to improve rare disease care in Latin America by promoting access to better diagnostics and adequate treatment, furthering policy development, increasing awareness, and fomenting regional collaboration.
