ARABESQUE ACADEMY

Our mission at Arabesque Academy of Dance is to assist our students, and the community, in embracing the joy of dance. We strive to help each and every student become a balanced and well-rounded artist, no matter the level of dance they wish to pursue. We believe in using positive reinforcement and safe movement practices to aid our students in gaining a sound technical background, building self-confidence, and learning to be expressive through the art of dance... We strongly believe in the safe progression of our dancers. We believe that basic fundamental dance skills must be mastered before progressing to more challenging skills, or advancing in level. This is to ensure the safety and well being of our dancers, and to help prevent unnecessary injury caused as a result of unsafe progressions... Arabesque Academy of Dance is located in the west end of Kingston, ON. We offer a positive environment for students to learn ballet, jazz, hip-hop, acro, and more!
