ARNET LAW - Key Persons
Anna joined Arnet Law in May 2019 as our office administrator.
Prior to having a child she worked in a Auckland CBD law firm. Her admin skills are fantastic and a real asset to our firm.
In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her 6 year old daughter and husband.
Elizabeth joined Arnet Law in March 2020 and is primarily based at the Waiheke Island office. She is working under Gavin Arnet and is looking to develop her knowledge in the property, commercial, trusts, wills and estate fields.
Elizabeth is a motivated worker with a strong focus on assisting others to achieve their desired outcome. Outside of the office, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time on the water and fishing.
Gavin Arnet has had a long association with the Franklin district. His family have farmed in the area for 30 years and Gavin grew up in the Franklin district before leaving to study law at the University of Waikato. He graduated BMS LLB in 2004.
After being admitted to the Bar, he returned to practice law in Pukekohe for five years, before taking time out to travel.
Gavin specialises in Commercial Law, Property Law, Trusts, Wills, Estates and Succession Planning as well as Relationship Property. He also has professional links to other specialists in all areas of the law. Clients can be referred to these specialists if appropriate.
Outside of the office Gavin enjoys playing tennis and going to the gym when he gets time. He enjoys socialising with family and friends and is a passionate wine connoisseur. Gavin is the Chair of the Life Education Trust Counties Manukau and puts as much time and energy into this as he can.
Elizabeth (Liz) Fox
Lawyer
Elizabeth, also known as Liz, attended Auckland University of Technology where she graduated with a double degree in Business and Law. Elizabeth was admitted to the Bar in 2018 and began work in Human Resources for a year and a half.
Halima graduated from the Auckland University of Technology with a degree in Law. She was then admitted to the Bar in 2019 and continued to work for NZAA.
Halima joined Arnet Law in June 2021, working under Gavin Arnet in the Property/Commercial team. She is a focused and enthusiastic individual who is committed to helping people with anything that they may need.
Outside of the office, she enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Lauren joined Arnet Law in 2022 as our receptionist based in Pukekohe.
Prior to Arnet Law, Lauren worked in administrative roles in the motor and agriculture industries.
Lauren loves to be creative, learn new skills and take on new challenges.
Outside of work Lauren is a whizz in the kitchen and a Pub Quiz maestro.

With degrees in Law and Arts from Victoria University Wellington, Miriam was admitted to the bar in 2003 and worked in a prominent firm in central Auckland before commencing practice in Pukekohe in 2005. After taking time out to travel, Miriam joined Tompkins Wake Lawyers in Hamilton as an Associate in the Litigation team.
Miriam is a Family Law expert, dealing with all manner of Family Law issues. Miriam has an amazing CV and brings another area of expertise to the Family Team.
Morgan graduated from the University of Waikato in 2016 and was admitted to the Bar in 2018. Morgan worked for the Employers and Manufacturers Association Inc where he provided advice to business owners and employment relations professionals on employment related issues.
Morgan joined Arnet Law in our family team in March 2020 and can assist you in all family law related matters.
Outside of work Morgan enjoys hiking, swimming and travel as well as spending time with family and friends. He is hard-working, committed and diligent. He looks forward to assisting you with whatever you may need.
Sheemal attended Auckland University of Technology where she graduated with a degree in Law.
Sheemal joined the firm in March 2020 as a member of the firm's family law team and is primarily based in the Pukekohe office.
Prior to joining the firm Sheemal practiced pre-dominantly in the general practice areas of law and has since then found a keen interest in family law. Outside of the office, Sheemal enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
