Dr. David Wilson

Dr. Wilson earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, minoring in Mathematics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He went on to work in the field of water energy as well as in research at UT Southwestern medical Center studying with Dr. Brett Giroir's lab. Wanting to pursue a career in health, he enrolled at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston's Dental Branch. It was there that he served with the Christian Dental Fellowship in weekly meetings as well as annual mission trips home and abroad. Dr. Wilson received the Merit award in Prosthodontics and acquired an interest in special needs and medically complex patients. Following dental school, Dr. Wilson pursued his interests in dentistry at UNC Chapel Hill in their General Practice Residency. It was here that Dr. Wilson was able to learn more about medically complex and special needs patients as well as trauma. Taking multidisciplinary approaches allowed him to work with people battling cancer, transplants, hemophilia, and dementia among disorders and diseases. When not in the office at Summit Dental, Dr. Wilson treats patients with special needs at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.

Dr. J. Chad Rinehart

Dr. Rinehart earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, minoring in Chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill. He went on to achieve his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UNC at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Dr. Rinehart served as the American Student Dental Association-North Carolina Dental Society student liaison and was the student member for the Dental Foundation of North Carolina Board of Directors. He was also recognized for being on the Dean's List and he was awarded the Dental Friends Scholarship. Dr. Rinehart is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Buncombe County Dental Society and the Blue Ridge Dental Study Club. Dr. Rinehart has a very personal approach and takes pride in developing long-lasting relationships with his patients. He is genuine, down-to-earth, friendly and cares for people. When he is not busy at the office, he likes to spend time with his family, where he is an involved father and devoted husband. He and his wife, Ashley, have known each other since the ninth grade and married while Dr. Rinehart was in dental school. They have three children, two biological girls, Mary Emma and Laura, and, in 2012, they adopted their son Edson from Uganda. Dr. Rinehart has a passion for helping people and loves to volunteer his time to better the community. He has participated in community events such as Love Loud Mission Tooth Bus, Dentistry from the Heart, and the NC Dental Society Missions of Mercy Dental Clinic. Furthermore, he has a passion for overseas missions. In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Rinehart served on a dental mission trip with Biltmore Baptist Church to Kenya. In September of 2015, he went with a team to serve in the Dominican Republic. There they were able to provide dental care to and serve a group of 45 girls in an orphanage called Pasitos de Jesus.
