Anna Cardoza

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Anna Cardoza joined the company in 2004 as our Office Manager. Anna's professional experience enables her to assist the company in providing the dependable service that they have been accustomed to. Anna resides in Fairhaven, MA with her husband and two sons.

Bill Daniels

Bill Daniels grew up on Cape Cod and fished from Provincetown and Chatham. He joined the Athearn Marine Agency in 1968 after a fishing related injury kept him ashore.

Bill Rocha

Bill Rocha joined the Athearn Marine Agency team in 2008. Bill has used his accounting background and understanding of fishery permits to provide clients with permit valuations and projections for financial institutions and other purposes. Bill has worked with NMFS on the Magnuson-Stevens Act required review of the Performance of the Scallop-LAGC-IFQ fishery specific to IFQ leasing. Bill is constantly working to improve his understanding of the changing regulations in all fisheries and has a very thorough understanding of permit transfers and vessel replacement regulations. Bill treats each client- new and old - with respect and courtesy.

Doug Wood

A native of Maine, Doug Wood is a fourth-generation fisherman who started lobster fishing with his father at a very early age. He has been a successful commercial fisherman since 1986, involved in numerous Eastern Seaboard fisheries, including scallop, lobster, Bluefin tuna and quahog, to name a few. Doug is based in Machiasport, Maine.

Jackson Schreiner

Job Titles:
  • Associate Marine Broker
Jackson is a native of Falmouth, Massachusetts and has always had an affinity for fishing vessels and the commercial fishing industry as a whole. Growing up in Massachusetts, his summers were spent working as crewman on local fishing vessels, mainly targeting pelagic species. Later, Jackson pursued a degree at the University of Rhode Island majoring in Marine Affairs and minoring in Business. He is excited to work with new and existing brokerage clients and is committed to go above and beyond with each and every transaction with Athearn Marine Agency.

John Moran

John has a background in marketing and management to assist him in providing the best service to his customers. The son of a commercial fisherman, John has been involved in and around the fishing industry his entire life and has both inshore and offshore "first-hand" fishing experience. John resides in Tiverton, RI.

Ryan Nolan

Job Titles:

Based in Connecticut, Ryan joined the Athearn team following a 15-year commercial fishing career. He worked primarily in the scallop and lobster industry out of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. His proximity to the Mid-Atlantic, industry background and network will help serve Athearn Marine Agency's broad geographical footprint and diverse client base.
