BAYWOOD DENTAL CLINIC - Key Persons
Dr. Adrienne Kidd was born and raised in Peterborough County, Ontario. She graduated Dentistry from University of Western Ontario in 2003. She has been living, practicing, and playing in Thunder Bay ever since. Outside of work, she spent her early years here at the gymnastics club, then had many years enjoying the area's fabulous rock and ice climbing, and after that, there were several years of amusing herself and others with Flow Arts Performance. In recent years however, she simply enjoys the abundance of magnificent local trails with her dog, and crafting or doing puzzles at home while sipping tea.
Dr. Amy Ylimaki is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She was born and raised in Nipigon,Ontario and obtained an honours bachelor of science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. After graduating in 2007, she moved back to Northern Ontario, first working alongside experienced dentists, and opening Baywood Dental in 2010.
Amy's true passion is providing the best oral health for her patients thorough comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs. She believes regular, preventative dental visits are key to maintaining a healthy smile. Amy strives to lead a team that consistently provides a friendly, caring environment for the entire family.
Amy is an active member of the dental community in Northwestern Ontario, being an executive member of Thunder Bay dental society including the role of President in 2021. She is a member of the Ontario Dental association, Canada Dental Association and Royal College of Dentists of Ontario. Amy is committed to continuing her education to better serve her family of patients.
Outside of the office, Amy enjoys spending summers at the lake and winters on the ski hill with her husband Scott, two daughters, Lakelan and Brynnley, and dog, Piper. Amy loves to travel and is a Disney enthusiast - she is known for helping her patients plan their next vacation!
Dr. Christian Mustapic has a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Lakehead University in 2016 and graduated from the University of Western Ontario's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2020.
Christian's philosophy includes prevention and early detection of oral health issues, to prevent potential painful and expensive complications. He is focused on providing his patients with a relaxed and comfortable dental experience while providing the highest quality of care.
Outside of dentistry, Christian enjoys sports and is involved in the Thunder Bay sports community, and spending time with family and friends.
