B&M CROP CONSULTING - Key Persons
Amanda is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness Management and a minor in Crop and Soil Sciences. She started as an agronomy intern with B&M Crop in 2013. She started full time in 2014 as an Agronomy Research Technician managing the research test plot program alongside Missy and managing the internship program. Besides working at B&M Crop, Amanda assists in her families farming and seed business operations. Amanda married husband, Randy, in 2021. Together they are proud parents of two crazy corgis, Ace & Elli.
Caitlin graduated from Michigan State University and Kellogg Community College in 2022 with an associate's degree in Agricultural Operations & Agriculture Science . She started as an agronomy intern with B&M Crop in 2021. She started full time in 2023 as an Agronomy Research Technician managing the research test plot program alongside Missy & Amanda and helping managing the internship program. Besides working at B&M Crop, Caitlin and her parents raise and show rabbits, cavies and sheep. They also operate Plank's Cage & Supply, which is a supply company for rabbits and cavies.
Carson graduated from Michigan State University and Kellogg Community College in 2021 with an associate's degree in Agricultural Operations & Agriculture Science. He started as an agronomy intern with B&M Crop in 2019. Carson came back to work with us part-time and seasonally full time as a Soil Sampling Technician. Besides working at B&M Crop, Carson farms with his grandfather on the West side of Coldwater.
Cindi is a native of Alvordton Ohio. She completed her Associates Degree in Accounting. Together Cindi and her husband, Denny own a corn and soybean operation. She has worked part-time with Bill and Missy ever since 2008 when the Bauer's were residents of OH. Cindi's main duties at B&M include: compiling reports, bringing soil tests into customers files, entering VRA prescriptions into SMS software, customer field days and many more various duties.
Jared is a native of Coldwater, MI. Growing up on his family farm just outside of Coldwater is where he first found an appreciation for agriculture. Jared started as an intern with B&M Crop in January of 2012 while attending Branch Area Career Center in agriculture science. After graduation he was our lead Soil Sampling Technician and then became our Field Operations Manager; managing all the soil sampling acres, crop scouting, and equipment maintenance. Jared now works part time for B&M Crop, while working on his family farm selling feed and managing their cattle herd.
Kameron is a native of Coldwater, MI. Growing up he helped on the neighbors family farm just outside of Coldwater where he first found an appreciation for agriculture. Kam started as an On The Job Training Student with B&M Crop in March of 2021 while attending Branch Area Career Center in agriculture science. After graduation he was our lead Soil Sampling Technician and is now our Field Operations Manager; managing all the soil sampling acres, crop scouting, and equipment maintenance. Besides working at B&M Crop, Kam runs his own spray foam business, KB Insulation.
Kenzie is estimated to graduate from Baker College in 2024 with an bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She started as an agronomy intern with B&M Crop in 2021. Kenzie returned to B&M Crop in the spring of 2023 to help on the Soil Fertility side of the business. Kenzie's main duties at B&M include: compiling reports, bringing soil tests into customers files, entering VRA prescriptions into SMS software, customer field days and many more various duties.
Zach grew up surrounded by Ag in his hometown of Union City, Michigan. After graduating high school, Zach went on to Michigan State University where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Crop and Soil Science in 2023. He has worked in various sectors of the agriculture industry where he has been exposed to all areas of production, research, scouting, consulting, and more. Zach's main duties include handling our scouting operations and customer service in addition to helping in all areas of the company.
