Dr. Amy Ellingson is a longtime local family practice physician who joined Three Rivers Family Medicine in August of 2019. She has been working in North Central Washington since 2002 as an outpatient and inpatient family medicine doctor.
Dr. Ellingson speaks Spanish fluently and specializes in disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, full family medicine, and women's health. Dr. Ellingson enjoys seeing newborns, children, and teens, as well as adults. She has also undergone extensive training in hormone therapy and has found a niche in treating women in the perimenopausal and postmenopausal period, which she finds fulfilling.
Dr. Ellingson is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University of Chicago. She completed her residency at the Montana Family Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Ellingson also serves as Medical Director of The Tiny Lives Foundation in Lesotho, Africa. She is interested in being of service to her local and global communities. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, being outside with her dog, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Ty Witt is a gynecologist with over 30 years of experience in women's health. Throughout his career, Dr. Witt has delivered more than 4,000 babies, but for the past decade his focus has been on gynecology. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Witt has extensive surgical expertise and stays up-to-date on the newest, most minimally invasive procedures to help patients heal with less pain and recovery time. He specializes in multiple health issues, including bone health, hormonal imbalances, heavy bleeding, urinary incontinence, and infertility.
He is originally from the Pacific Northwest, and has run private practices in Arizona and Oregon. He studied at UCLA Medical School and completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University.
