We began manufacturing commercial kitchen equipment in 1956. By the late 1970s, we recognised the impact of Asian cuisine within the Australian foodservice industry and started to manufacture ranges to meet this demand... Over time, we designed and developed a product range consisting of over 100 standard units. That being said, standard units are the exception - most units can be modified, or even have whole new specifications made for a particular kitchen... Through ongoing research and development, we have developed a patented burner pilot integration system for our Hipac woks to ensure reliable performance. B+S was the first Australian manufacturer to develop and manufacture a complete waterless wok range and has since added waterless steamers, stockpots, and HiPacs.
