Mrs Aloma Jones

Aloma is the Registered Manager of Bronafallen. Aloma is local to the area and is a First Language Welsh Speaker. She has many years experience with EMI Clients in a Day care capacity as well as Residential. Before taking over as Manager Aloma was employed as the Deputy Manager at Bronafallen. Aloma has worked at Bronafallen since 1996 and has extensive knowledge and experience of working with the elderly with dementia and providing person centred care. Aloma currently holds her NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and NVQ 4 Registered Manager Award, as well as continually updating all relevant qualifications; such as Fire safety, Safe administration of medication, Managing medication and assessing competence, Manual handling, Safeguarding, Emergency first aid at work, Gwen am byth, Falls prevention, Tissue viability, Level 2 Food hygiene and many others. Aloma and our team have also received specialist dementia training from Patsy Pope of All About Dementia including Jewels of Dementia, De-escalation and The key to dementia care. Aloma has also attended training on the interactive Dementia Bus through Conwy County Council. Aloma has qualifications in NHS Covid 19 Test and Trace and PPE, as well as Infection Prevention and Control. Aloma is committed to ongoing Personal development. Aloma feels she is very lucky to be working in a rewarding profession that enables her to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. Aloma's philosophy on Client Care is that Bronafallen is THEIR Home and we should enable them to live well with Dementia and as comfortably as if they were living in their own Home.

Mrs Heather Cunnah

Heather is the Administrator of Bronafallen and is part of the Management Team, along with Dawn and Aloma. Heather has worked for Dawn in previous care homes since 2002 before joining Bronafallen in 2007. Heather is a Dementia Champion and has been working towards her Level 3 qualification in Dementia. She has also attended Conwy's interactive Dementia Bus session and various dementia training sessions with Patsy Pope. Heather feels very strongly about raising awareness and understanding of dementia and is a member of her local Dementia Community Steering Group. She believes in promoting the ethos of "Living well with dementia".

Mrs. Dawn Gittins

Mrs. Dawn Gittins is also the Proprietor of Bryn Derwen E.M.I Residential Home in St Asaph, and Co-Owns, with Mrs. Janet Bailey, Phoenix House in Sandycroft, Deeside. Dawn has worked with the elderly with Dementia since 1994, managing a large Day Care Centre as well as Managing an EMI Care Home.
