Benjamin E. Stein, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in complex reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He is based in Washington, DC with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics and has been recognized for consecutive years by Washingtonian Magazine as a ‘Top Doctor' in the region. Dr. Stein received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the George Washington University with distinction. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a Foot and Ankle reconstruction fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He is active in education and research and has presented at numerous national and international meetings, published manuscripts, and book chapters on the management of complex foot and ankle injuries. He maintains an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS). He currently serves as the President and CEO of Capital Orthopaedic Surgery Center (COSC).

Gautam Siram, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and complex hip and knee replacement surgery. He is based in Washington, DC with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics and has been recognized for consecutive years by Washingtonian Magazine as a ‘Top Doctor' in the region. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Howard University followed by fellowship training in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at the Anderson Orthopedic Clinic. Marc B. Danziger, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery. He is based in Washington, DC with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics and has been recognized for consecutive years by Washingtonian Magazine as a ‘Top Doctor' in the region. Dr. Danziger received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Boston University. He remained at Boston University to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency followed by fellowship training in complex sports, shoulder and elbow surgery in Northern Virginia. He has been the head team physician for the Gallaudet University football team and holds faculty appointments at the George Washington University and Georgetown University.

Matthew A. Harb, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and complex hip and knee replacement surgery. Matthew H. Griffith, MD is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with expertise in minimally invasive and arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, elbow and knee as well as reconstructive surgery including total shoulder and reverse shoulder replacements. His is based in Northern Virginia and is partner with the Arthritis & Sports Clinic. Dr. Griffith received his undergraduate degree from Duke followed by his M.D. from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery followed by fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard University). He has previously served as an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins and is the current team physician for the Potomac Falls Panthers and Park View Patriots high school football teams.

Melissa Karhoff, RN is the preoperative and recovery Nurse Manager at Capital Orthopaedic Surgery Center (COSC). She is a registered nurse with twenty-two years of experience in adult and pediatric care. The majority of her career has been spent at ambulatory surgery centers where she has focused on improving the experience and care delivered during the pre-admission, pre-operative, and recovery windows. She will bring this wealth of experience to the patients under her care at Capital Orthopaedic Surgery Center. Though she was born and raised in south Louisiana, her family affectionately calls her a "yankee". Learning how to cook from her grandparents at a young age and being both Cajun and Sicilian has created a deep-rooted appreciation for all things culinary. In her spare time, she volunteers for Make-A-Wish helping to make wishes come true for the kiddos who have life-threatening illnesses. She also likes to read, go to concerts and spend time with her family and friends.

Noah M. Raizman, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand, elbow and shoulder surgery as well as peripheral nerve reconstruction. He is based in Washington, DC with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics and has been recognized for consecutive years by Washingtonian Magazine as a ‘Top Doctor' in the region. Dr. Raizman received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and medical degree from Columbia University. He completed his orthopaedic residency at George Washington University, followed by a Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Elected as a Young Leader of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), he is a frequent national lecturer on shoulder and elbow reconstruction and hand surgery. He currently serves as Chair of the ASSH Evidence-Based Practice Committee, member of the ASSH Ethics and Professionalism Committee and member of the AAOS Evidence-Based Quality and Value Committee where he reviews and helps establish clinical practice guidelines for orthopaedic surgery. He has a strong interest in trauma, nerve reconstruction and sports injuries of the upper extremity.

Oliver N. Schipper, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in complex and minimally-invasive reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He is based in Northern Virginia with the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic. He completed his medical education at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and attended the University of Chicago for orthopaedic surgery residency. He then completed his orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery training at the OrthoCarolina Foot & Ankle Institute. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) and an elected member of the Young Physicians Committee. He has presented both nationally and internationally, including the AOFAS and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual conferences. He has co-authored book chapters and published multiple papers in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery, with a focus on ankle replacement and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Schipper teaches and lectures nationally on minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery.

Peter G. Fitzgibbons, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Randall S. Peyton, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and complex hip and knee replacement surgery. He is based in Northern Virginia with the Arthritis & Sports Clinic which he founded and continues to serve as its President and CEO. He has been recognized for consecutive years by Washingtonian Magazine as a ‘Top Doctor' in the region. Dr. Peyton obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia before completing his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then completed his fellowship training in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at the Rothman Institute of the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He has lectured and instructed at numerous surgeon education courses throughout the country focusing on relevant concepts and advanced techniques for hip replacement, total knee replacement, and ACL repair surgeries. He is an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and continues to actively train future orthopaedic surgeons. He currently serves as a board of managers member of Capital Orthopaedic Surgery Center (COSC) and the Co-Director of the Joint Replacement Program.

Robert A. Sershon, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and complex hip and knee replacement surgery. He is based in Northern Virginia with the world-renowned Anderson Orthopaedic clinic. He received his undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University. He completed his medical degree and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Rush University Medical Center followed by fellowship training in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at the Anderson Orthopedic Clinic. Dr. Sershon specializes in anterior total hip replacement, minimally-invasive partial knee replacement, and rapid-recovery total knee replacement. A nationally respected leader in joint replacement research, Dr. Sershon has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and abstracts. In his free time, Dr. Sershon enjoys running, spending time outdoors with his family, and refurbishing furniture.

Sarah Finley, RN is the Administrator at Capital Orthopedic Surgery Center (COSC). She graduated from Frederick College with an associate degree in nursing then completed her bachelor's degree in nursing from The College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, MD. She has over 18years of nursing and surgical care experience with the past 15 years being focused in leadership roles in the ambulatory surgery center setting. She is focused on delivering the absolute best care and experience to the patients at COSC. When not at work she enjoys kayaking, and spending time outside with her family and their two dogs

Scott C. Faucett, MD, MS is an orthopaedic Sports medicine surgeon based in Washington, DC with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. His clinical practice focuses on complex knee and hip surgery. Dr. Faucett received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and medical degree from Dartmouth College. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Dartmouth, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Steadman Clinic. He is a team doctor for the George Washington University Athletic Department, and numerous high-schools, as well as a pool physician for the United States Ski & Snowboard teams. He has presented at numerous international meetings, published manuscripts, and book chapters on the management of complex meniscus injuries. He serves on several committees with AOSSM, and ISAKOS as well as directs the research efforts at the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Research Foundation. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Capital Orthopaedic Surgery Center (COSC).

William R. Volk, MD, is an orthopaedic Sports medicine surgeon based in Maryland with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. Dr. Volk received his medical degree from The George Washington University. He continued on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at George Washington University Hospital, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at The UHZ Sports Medicine Institute in Coral Gables, FL, where he served as a Team Physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL), the Miami Dolphins (NFL), and the Florida Panthers (NHL). Prior to joining private practice, Dr. Volk served at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) where he held the academic positions of Associate Director for the Orthopaedic Surgery residency program, Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, and Orthopaedic Consultant for The Office of The Attending Physician, treating several members of Congress. Dr. Volk's clinical interests include injuries of the shoulder, hip, and knee with a special interest in complex hip preservation surgery, including arthroscopic labral repair and reconstruction; shoulder replacements, shoulder instability, and rotator cuff procedures; and knee ligament and cartilage reconstruction.
